If you are young and looking for endless work around the province, get yourself into heavy equipment school, get as many tickets as you cam ( incl first aid,,say level II ) You will be well paid for as long as you want. The need is staggering. They have kids straight out of school running haul trucks outside Golden, a very tough section to work. Thanks for posting Monster, especially about the meth etc, it's all through the commercial construction industry as well, not everyone bu any means, but enough to make many sites unsafe and very inefficient.

Yes, open ended budget to cover insane hourly rates. Just get the highway open again. The cost of repair is a drop compared to the cost of the highway being closed.

It's easy to get this kind of hustle, just get 400 bored pipeline workers who can barely build a pipeline due to the overbearing regulation and then tell them they have almost free reign to rebuild the highway. You guys jumping for for joy just digging a hole out there.

Since we are takling about stupid spending, how about the CERB program? Spending money we don't have and forcing our grandchildren and their children who are not yet born to pay for it is way beyond stupidity, it is criminal.

It also helps that there were hundreds of pieces of equipment and operators in the area already to build a pipeline. Pipeline can wait a couple weeks.

Bydone would have shut the whole thing down and say buy an electric car and drive around the detour for 500 miles.

Just cut the environment bs and get it done. Didn't see any fisheries guys there complaining about the sediment being poured into the water. Mind you, mother nature poured in many times more sediment during the flood.
