29-10-2014 - ALMERE - The driver of a garbage truck was seriously injured on Wednesday morning when he bumped into a city bus in Noorderplassen-West in Almere Stad. The police report that the 28-year-old Almeerder probably drove through red.
The cabin of his car tipped over due to the blow, which trapped the man. He had to be freed by the fire brigade and was brought to the hospital with neck, back and leg complaints.
The bus was hit on the side and is badly damaged. Two travelers were injured by broken glass. They were treated on the spot. The police are still investigating the precise circumstances.
