Weeds often emerge after a cash crop has been planted over a high biomass cover crop. If for some reason herbicides were not sufficient, complementary in sorrow cultivation could be helpful for killing remaining weeds that emerged after those treatments.
Heavy residue cultivators have been designed for removing them.
