It's an amazingly impeccable explanation dear Rut. Very detailed. Thank you for that. I got hired - should be: הייתי מועסק I believe it's correct.

Thank you. Actually, it is without "הייתי", because the English construct is already included in hufal past tense. "I have been hired" and "I got hired" is the same. 🥰

Thank you Rut! The truth is that I am fully absorbed in this Hebrew grammar and so am I in Arabic to be very honest with you as I lived in Israel for almost 4 years and I studied both at the same time. The second option of הייתי מועסק could be - מועסקתי but probably it's not fully correct grammatically.

@@HebrewVerbs Thank you very much Rut. The thing is that in Arabic it's very important to focus on the correct,proper pronunciation of each letter. This takes extra studies.
