He doesn’t even want to be heard. That is a misnomer. Those Congressmen DO want him to be heard. They want to give him a microphone so they can have a conversation. The heckler doesn’t want to be heard, he only wants to disrupt and tear down.
The reason people scream is because they do not care about hearing facts or other's opinions. They care more about their feelings and they will be damned if any one disagrees with them, period.
I come from a poor white family. The ones who took welfare never got out of the cycle. It followed them into adulthood. My mom refused to take the handouts and worked her butt off to provide, remarried a man who was also an incredibly hard worker, and taught me the meaning of success. I'm really glad she didn't choose to be a victim of government dependence.
Beautiful story and as a black male business owner I share a similar story. My only question is what does any of that have to do with governmental crimes done to a community?
@regrob16 My point is that reparations come with strings attached. The government will attach some kind of conditional payout and use it as a means of control as they have the welfare system. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
I think most people in that room were trying to do the same. A couple of loud mouths in the back are too disrespectful to allow the rest of the room to do that. There's nothing difficult about using the microphone, speaking in a civilized tone, and allowing people to respond without interruption.
The OG in the red hat, stood up as a Man ready to handle the one bringing chaos to the room. He finally got up, it was well overdue! OG was on post... 😂
It’s exhausting and doesn’t allow for dialogue. I want to hear the information from all sides; that’s difficult when the message is being articulated in this manner.
While more actually listen, the pros of screaming is more hear you. I’m tired of it at this point cause too many are checked out and don’t plan to actually listen so they look for something like passion in the argument instead. Edit: Passion can be a good thing but I’d prefer in some cases that it not lead decisions. Just a random example, I’m Canadian, the current government is seen by its supporters as a passionate one. Passionate about many good things but in its journey to provide many well intentioned programs that would help many Canadians they have taxed the heck out of us causing many other problems. I honestly think many more would be fine if they weren’t spending so recklessly and millionaires themselves but it is hard for small businesses to really grow which is kinda what we need. The job market could be better and if those small businesses could hire more and pay decent wages(depends on job) with good hours we’d be better off. It can be pretty difficult for someone like myself in their early 20’s. Many other problems I’ll spare for now but I kinda see it as essentially passion for the less than fortunate has made most of us the less fortunate while they see otherwise.
This man would never yell at President Biden or any other white male. You can't blame everything wrong on black Republicans and not giving that same energy to black Democrats that have been in power for decades!!!!

@@BizQACthat's unfortunate! One of the biggest lessons I work on with my children is how to regulate their emotions appropriately. It's sad that so many adults can't.
@@nicoleterry5228 lack of emotional coping skills is not uncommon in the black community that both male and females don’t have a good grasp on their emotions nor how to deal with them. Also, in general, most of the most successful black people in america are recent immigrants from absolute poverty in other countries. They come here, see the opportunities, and make something of themselves. The majority of the unsuccessful black people have been here for at least a century, and claim there are no opportunities. They called Robert E. Lee the Marble Model at West Point because he exemplified what it meant to be a West Point Cadet. When the Civil War broke out, he chose the Confederate side because he could not take up arms against his home state of Virginia. For many people back then, their loyalty to their state was stronger than their loyalty to the nation. He did what he thought was right then, and he regretted it. Statues simply memorialize history... some history is good, some history is bad, some history is ugly; but its all ours and important to remember. The good, the bad and the ugly...

Those two black congressmen told the truth. I hope and pray that the answers that were given will be thought on and those voters will do their diligence before casting votes this November.
They actually sabotaged the Black vote out of Trump's favor. And it's not hard to track who descended from slavery. You just have to look at the US Census and track family lineage before the 60s. The overwhelming mass majority of foreign Blacks came after the Immigration Act of 1965, which was design to open the floodgates for the whole world to enter. So today's immigration problem starts with that. It was suppose to replace Black America, but it backfired, replacing White Americans, because the Europeans who came weren't assimilating and every other group since they've been entering wholesale followed suit, acting as surrogates from their own countries, injecting their politics of the nations they ran from.

It was a brutal time that I wish had never happened. People need to remember that there were very few people who benefited personally by the civil war, in the south anyway. Most of the ones who were drafted into the confederate army were themselves dirt poor farmers. Of the 3 brothers only my great great grandfather made it home. 🙁

My brother is 7 years older than me and went to the same school 7 years earlier. He witnessed violence black on white and white on black on a daily basis some times with knifes and such. My middle son is married to a gorgeous black woman, and we are in-laws to a wonderful family from Louisville (UK vs Ville rivalry) and we coached in inner city Lexington when he was young. My lifelong closest friend is a guy I met in elementary readiness class at 5 years old and we went through school together, church together and his and my family are one big family. I lost many white friends due to our relationship, realized when I was young that those were not true friends. By the end of school and all we both signed up for the ARMY together. He served 12 years (was in desert Storm). I ended up not being able to be in Army. We then worked together at 2 companies later in life, one in Lexington and then one in Cincinnati. He is as much my brother as my flesh and blood. My sister and brother feel the same way about the Boaz family. My wife and kids feel the same way. I was born in 1965, I have seen the signs in southern KY like "do not let the sunshine fade on your black ass in this town" and felt discussed. Even being discussed I could never understand what he thought about it and how it made him and his family feel. The people who deserve reparations are the descendants of slaves in the United States who can trace their lineage back to the 1870 United States Census. All immigrants who have a lineage to Caribbean or African countries will not be eligible since their ancestors did not endure slavery in the United States and have no ancestors on the 1870 United States Census. Reparations for descendants of slaves in the United States is LINEAGE BASED not RACE BASED. MEANING, All Black people don’t apply. If you don’t have the lineage, YOU DO NOT QUALIFY. The Republican who said his parents are Jamaican and Panamanian won’t be eligible. Thats why he is not pro reparations. Most immigrants and children born in the United States with immigrant parents or backgrounds are the main ones who are anti reparations simply because they won’t be qualified to receive them since they are not the descendants of slaves in the United States, that’s why it’s important to ask where these people families come from before you engage with these non descendant of slaves in the United States on reparations topics. They slow down the process for those who are truly descendants of slaves in the United States and that is very detrimental to our movement . Black Americans who are descendants of slaves are OWED reparations by the United States government. It’s not hard to trace our ancestry back to a family member on the 1870 United States census, most Black Americans who are non immigrants can easily trace their ancestry and the United States government has these records available online. The people who are owed are still here and we know our lineage and can show proof of slave ancestry. My ancestors built the United States for these Caribbean and African immigrants to come enjoy just for them to downplay our reparations movement.
