I hope I followed the correct channel over on Rumble. Supposedly, I am the first and only to follow you over there, I find that difficult to believe. Anyway, I'll watch over there from now on even if I really am the only one over there watching.
Noob mistake i made yesterday, took a turn too wide and crashed in a ditch. I remembered my training from msf and slowed down when i saw imitate crash.
As a semi experienced rider, I find a lot of these riders habits appalling lol.. Wish people would get more training, you don't buy a plane and learn to fly by yourself
Because it is fun, and also great practice for escaping robbers, or rushing to an emergency. You just need the skills, prudence, and judgement, and riding within 60% of your ability, leaving the other 40% for a safety cushion. And by prudence, I mean you have to expect things about to happen. Like what will you do if that vehicle does this, that vehicle does that. What if a vehicle, or junk just pops out in front of you. This is how I have survived racing around for my delivery job.
Expanding on what I said earlier. You must not ride far outside the limits if your bike & skills. For example, when safely lane filtering, I don't go faster then I can stop or turn-away in one second, because people, junk, or doors can just appear. So I filter at walking or jogging pace, relative to the traffic around me, with brakes covered. I even take up the slack in the brake levers, at tighter gaps, blind corners around big vehicles, or jaywalkers. But when it's wide open roads, or my space cushion of safety & reaction time has expanded, then I can go faster. Times sometimes happen, where I have so much visibility & space, I bounce off the top-speed of my big sproket bike. That is what regulates my speed. Not the government, not anyone's opinions. What I'm safely capable of avoiding.
Here I am, a guy who's been riding for nearly two decades, and I never really got the "big bike" bug. I've stepped down from 700class and above bikes twice now, and find the smaller, lighter bikes are more manageable. The idea of going "fast" on public roads is one I got over early on.
It’s more fun going 70mph on one wheel than 90 on two. A 35mph corner offers more Gs than a 55(better traction). I learned early on, I’m not allowed to have a rocket. Anything after 100mph on the streets isn’t skill. It’s begging for something unaccounted for. Get me to 100 quick and I’ll be happy.
I've only had a bike up to 100 twice. I did it to say I had,, nothing more. I do love that feeling of G's in the corners. I get them on my Grom and on my CB500F. There is no substitute for good tires and lots of experience. @@WontSeeReplies
I've started on a ninja 250 and I really want a 600cc. Doing a bit of highway riding and I don't feel comfortable not being able to easily move a bit faster than the flow of traffic. Also nothing really happens when you twist the throttle on a 250 when you get used to riding lol
I agree with Motojitsu. Small bikes are just so fun & usable. Big, heavy engines, or EV power equivalent, are only good for wide open space. Getting something like a 300cc or less sportbike or dualsport, is perfect for the streets. The prime example of "its better to ride a slow bike fast, then a fast bike slow". And I've started believing that smaller, lighter, low torque, high-reving engines & EVs are the best for the people, because you have the low rpm efficiency for commuting, high rpm power for emergencies & fun, but you are light & small enough to easily avoid collisions, with random people & things just popping out in front of you. Gasoline or electric. Power is heavy.
All the crashes seem to have a common denominator..... SPEED going to fast just because you have a high powered machine doesn't give you the okay to drive or ride like a moron. Speed limits are there for the safety of all.
Don't bother. You're just gonna get swarmed by dumbasses shouting "uhm actually it's not the speed that kills", "you could be much more dangerous by driving slowly", or some other moronic shit like that.
After all the yrs I've watched your stuff it's getting more difficult to watch these guy/gals go down..... it hurts me just seeing the curve coming as they speed up to meet it !! Why not just slow it down to enjoy the ride & I know the feel of ripping thru the twists/turns but at some point it ain't worth it ? The trouble is >> when ya find the "point" you've already gone down. Be safe out there & GB ALL
@@Frank7G my first bike was a Chinese clone of the Honda Grom. Part of the reason I named my channel "Clone Biker" is cause I've only had clones of actual bikes, plus, I'm a Star Wars fan, and Clone Troopers were always my favorite. I've had 3 bikes, all of them were Chinese knockoffs of Honda bikes. 2 Grom clones, and a mini CBR. Bought 3 bikes instead of getting a car lol.
@@Frank7G I haven't caused an accident while riding, but I got a broken collarbone cause I got cut off by a pickup truck. Been in 4 accidents riding due to car drivers not looking. But only got injured once other than road rash. I REALLY want a dual sport.
I don’t ride a motorcycle, nor will I ever ride motorcycle but this channel is one of the reasons why I give riders so much space and I keep a close eye on them and check my mirrors, not in a great position to have a broken side mirror 😅 but seriously stay safe and please slow down!
No kidding. Knocked TF out and sliding on his head at - what? - 60 miles an hour or some shit? Holy hell. The dude lived, somehow, and has even posted some replies here.
if i had to guess, they got demonetized or some shit, youtube copyright / community guidelines are ass. they probably pivoted to a similar but slighly different backup channel tbh
@@jackq1086 I'd like to think both drivers and riders would be more appreciative of what they drive/ride.... Seems both have thrown sense out the window...
That might have been inexperience or not used to making decisions on his own. The fact that he sped up immediately could have been his mind trying to process some kind of trauma response. But yeah it’s very much not the best option.
@@Okurka. yes, kind of. cold temeratures, snow and water are dangerous for 2 wheels open vehicles. better be safe than sorry. i have more to live on than to die half frozen half crippled
I actually like the voice over as it offers something unique i can watch the clips from Original source but the safety advice does make it more valuable as i dont always get what went wrong
RU-vid’s been cracking down on motorcycle RU-vidrs, he mentioned this his account has been demonetized for 4 months already so I think that explains the disappearance
"Still alive amigo. RU-vid suspended/demonetized me so seemed like a good time to take a solid break and log some serious off-road riding hours instead. Might be back. Might not. Just depends how I feel moving forward 👍". He responded to a tweet in march after no post for 2 months. God knows if he will be back
Its way better since you added voice over always adds better context to the situation in the videos!! Always thought before you added it that it would be better with some commentary
As someone that went from a DRZ400sm (put about 1000 miles on it a year) to an 1199 panigale (put about 1000 miles on it in the first month) there is no issue with going from a pos to the cream of the crop you just need to know your limits, the bike isnt gonna do everything for you, you're skill limits are the same as they were on the pos. its all about the frame of mind you have. So many people are saying these new super/hyper sports bikes are "almost impossible to crash" It gives new or even intermediate riders way to much confidence to do stupid shit.
I was lucky enough to grow up with an older brother that liked to do extreme things... I was also smart enough to never repeat the same mistakes he made.. thank you to all the big brothers/sisters for allowing Moto Madness to teach us little brothers/sisters what not to do :)
@@StreetDemonPC Get well, beat Road Rash (MegaDrive (Genesis) / PS1 emulator) in the meantime to learn how traffic will always win, if you didn't knew that already ;)
I remember when I was younger, I sat next to a pro motorcycle rider on a flight. We talked a little bit about motorcycles and I mentioned I was thinking of getting one, but I had never ridden before. His first bit of advice was buy a low CC cycle and work your way up as you get more comfortable riding a motorcycle.
I think the voice over is great! But yeah the need to censor is crap. But then that's the tube being ridiculous...... Given what people can view on social media platforms..... Smh
I don’t know about rumble, hope it works for you, but I won’t be adding any new media apps to my life. As for the voice overs, I LOVE IT! My gf even pays attention now, and that has been a losing prospect for years. Keep it up, and hopefully RU-vid will remonetize you.
What’s happened to Moto madness? Does he have another channel now?? Has he given up and stopped? I enjoyed these videos and have always wondered why they just stopped?..
