Hector Berlioz - Roméo et Juliette, Op. 17 

One of the greatest musical compositions ever written, marvelously performed!

I'm glad I waited so long to listen to this. After years of listening to orchestral/baroque/classical music I feel that I am finally understanding the music more and am able to enjoy it more as an insider, understanding what I am hearing. Versus before it felt like I was on the outside hearing the effect of everything as a whole. The biggest breakthrough for me has been thoroughly studying and practicing counterpoint.
