Yousef during the performance: I like her flow. Ina during the performance: A bit uncontrolled. Ina: How old are you? Hedda: 17 Ina: I can’t…. First of all, to choose such a song is fresh and right. At the same time it is a tremendous gamble, right? But you did show us who you are with it. Work on the polishing. Shape it more, tighten the bolts. Then you’ll be on the road. Your singing is very good. I mean it. Espen: You’re obviously a super talent. The song in itself is loud, talks loudly. It is very clear. It gives us clear associations to past times. And associations to a story teller and a content which might be a lot older and mature than what you are. I do hope you will go home and practice, and come back next year. Because we need to hear you perform a song which is a bit lighter. A song where we can hear more of Hedda. Because it is evident that you are a super talent. Espen after: It is very difficult to distinguish song from performance. When you are singing Edith Piaf, something extraterrestrial is expected. Ina: I think her choice of song was very good, because it makes her stand out. But my thought was “would I have been equally excited if she had chosen a different song?” Jarle: To me, it was like this could be Sissel Kyrkjebø-good. Crystal clear voice like a mountain steam.
Wow! There has been a really big come back of Edith Piaf covers by artists in the last couple of years…..this was one of the best! So sad they didn’t turn 😢
Respect. It is not an easy song to sing for a native french speaker so for a foreigner....I am Very impressed, the pronunciation as well is pretty good, i was able to undestand 90% of it. I think the juges were fu...ers incapable to undestand the level of difficulty here....
