Heed has always been my favorite band from Daniel's career, and Sacred Outcry, which he is now a part of, is also great. There are glimpses of respect for Heed in it at times, I feel.
daniel heimans voice is so freaking awesome. from lost horizon to this, but i think his voice is ment for lost horizon, because it fully shows his potential and verity of vocal ranges. he is a fantastic singer, and gave me alot of inspiration to do metal songs.
I'm really really impressed with the sound of this band wow it's blowing me away right now I mean seeing the name and the picture of the album I think it leaves you feeling a little different once again you learn not to judge a book by its cover or yet what an album I'm liking it very well very strong vocals I don't think they got for the most part they're act together amen let's hope they're around a long time and they do eventually get their dues...

damn what a great song! Been listening to this for over 50 times in a row now :D:D Daniel is GOD! Its sad that he left Lost Horizon though :( Thats the only band where he belongs. R.I.P LH
Sadly this singer can’t seem to stay in one band, which is a shame cause he is one my favorite singers and heavily underrated metal god. Imagine if he had a band like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, or Halloween backing him up.
I hear ya.. I don't think theres another genre other then the Power Metal that Lost Horizon gave us, there was such power in his voice when he hits them high notes, and even live he's fucking amazing, no doubt about it.

He's actually in the band Lavett now, and as much as I liked LH--power metal bands like them are a dime a dozen, its no wonder he wanted to do something else.
Intersting question who is the best of the best in metal vocallists .I wish to be more modest realistic and well "searched"for this theme ..is no easy .the difereces of "candidate of top throne"are not very trasparent not exist an absoloutly "foto finish"who shows the finaly winner ..in my incomplete yet top list highest positions are 1.______? 2.________? 3.__________? 4.______? :kotipelto .leone .scorpions .roy khan.midnight .geof tate.wasp. mc auley .dikinson .jon oliva..I dont excatlly if heiman is the "noumber one" but I sure that his is in the highest positions of the best metal voices in world . Is one of my favorite .his high vocals and screams are really epic !
@CuriosityRoads In the context of heavy metal vocalists, Lambert's voice isn't very masculine. In the context of power metal vocalists specifically, he undoubtedly has the talent to fit in but he'd still be on the feminine side of the scale, even after distorting his voice. Sure both Lambert and Heiman are high tenors with incredible support and a good amount of power, but so is Domingo or Pavarotti, and they sound nothing like Heiman in terms of timbre (to a further extent than Lambert ofc).
This is the final actual use of Heiman's voice. Everything else, with the exception of Dimhav, has been mediocre power metal. The genre needs better composers these days.
@CuriosityRoads I agree with some of what you're saying...But your logic is a little off. Just range by itself doesn't really determine voice type or "masculinity" more than timbre in the upper register. Take Geddy Lee as an example. His "actual voice" can extend as low as the lower second or even upper first octave, but anyone with ears can listen to a single Rush song and instantly agree that his high register is EXTREMELY feminine. Lamberts voice is the same, though not to such an extreme.
