🔥🔥🔥 Something for me to look up to as motivation. New to drumming and also the double pedal. Metal is one of my favorite genres so i gotta get comfortable with the double
Heel toe is the best. They have single pedals with two beaters now one for the heel and for the top of the foot. So you can play that 200 bpm on one foot
Very impressive... but I also know why people use triggers... cause of dynamic inconsistencies... especially in the transition from singles to doubles. This guy does about as good as you can do unless you give up eating and sleeping for practicing this.
yeah take it slow. work on getting your feet adapted to full leg movement first. even though it may seem that you’ve mastered the technique, at 6 months you most likely still have more to improve on. if you want to go fast and just can’t wait, do your research and practice ankle motion technique. if you can get that up to 190 in another 3-4 months that’d be impressive. heel toe can come later when you need it.
Fuckin' A my man. So refreshing to hear this without the damn triggers. How long do you reckon it took you before you were able to sustain steady 16th notes @ 200BPM like in the video?
I don't know man, I think it took me 6 months but like inconsistently, and still up to this day I've been struggling playing 240 - 250 BPM with heel-toe without triggers
For me, if I could turn back time, I would choose ankle but I can't play it for now. If you can play ankle technique, you can play swivel, but for the heel, toe it's the easiest double bass technique of the three, for the meantime I'm practicing ankle... While using heel toe.
Not bad at all. Just need to put in a little more time. I also find it weird your wearing sandals but whatever is comfortable for you. Just work on the timing is all, you got the speed down.
@@warrenranstrom4462 hahahaha okay I just play heel toe like everyone does I guess 🤣 with all seriousness I'm just trying to play as hard as I can as fast as I can. If I can nail that down fluently I will do an instructional video on this technique.. 2023 was kinda suck on me cause of anxiety problem I haven't really practice last year hopefully I can bounce back and push my plans this year.. 🤣 don't know why I'm sharing this though. 😂😂😂
@@bobbyhilda5880 yeah, the reason is that I cannot tighten it more.. it's best if you follow the advice of martin from drumtech academy,,,, it's very helpful...
