That's so funny, my youngest daughter used to have a little saying to me when she was a toddler. She used to say, "Mommy, I love you and I like you!" and I always thought it was not only her but The Lord saying that! How sweet!
To those who criticize Heidi Baker and others like her... Please leave your comfortable lives and come to the dark parts of Africa. Live the life she has lived. Lets see how much of your doctrine is actually put into action. I bless God for this woman.
God is love. God is called Abba in Romans 8. Abba = daddy or papa. To me, it makes sense to call God my Daddy or Papa. Therefore, I can refer to Daddy's love.
Your validation is in John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ___ People often don't take this personal enough. The Bible says God knew us before we were formed in the womb... And since God and Jesus are a part of each other... That means Jesus knew you when He died on the cross. He knew your name and everything about you. 2,000 years before you were born. Yes Jesus died for everyone... But when He was on that cross... He knew your name. You are so loved that He died for you. The one who made you died for you. If that isn't validation of love... Idk what is. ❤️
Cynthia Bowkett hey! i just want to encourage you that the day you started praying to hear Him, He's already been speaking to you! because He has stronger desires to talk to you and let you hear Him than you can ever want heading Him. 💞 that's our beautiful loving God! start with soaking yourself with His Word and you will start to be more familiar and more aware of Him speaking to you!
Sometimes we don't realize he is speaking. If something feels like a stray thought or something you wouldn't normally think and it lines up with the word of God- it is something full of love and hope- than it is probably God. To practice hearing him, I encourage you to spend some time worshipping or thanking him. Then ask God a question and pause and wait for an answer. Or you can simply journal pray- tell God about your life and circumstances and ask him a question, than write down whatever comes to mind first. Then you can think through where that thought came from- God, you or the enemy. You will be surprised how often you hear. And you will be surprised how many of the thoughts you thought were your own were really his.

So basically this is all about connection and presence. I dont't hear the key words like repent or saved. Presence is not the standart, the Word of God is. I think connection could be very deceiving and it sounds like new age teaching with the name Jesus on top I appreciate that they help people, but the word of God doesn't teach at all to be ok with who you are and seek the presence for it, but rather to repent and live a new holy life with The Lord. I hope that i am wrong.
It's Gods kindness that leads to repentance, the bible has the Jesus/Church Groom/Bride metaphor. It's the love of God that motivates a relationship. It's God's love that enables us to love him and love others. I want you to know God loves you, right where you are. Salvation is a gift by grace through faith. We couldn't earn it and we don't deserve it. God so loved the world.
Did you just say that the pursuit of God's presence is dangerous? That's beyond unbiblical. Can a professing Christian know ABOUT God and not know Him? Absolutely. YHWH is a supernatural God, He hasn't changed. When Isreal had the tabernacle in their midst, God was supernaturally manifested and real in power and might. *You . . . you're now His temple. Why would you expect Him to be less?* Why would you limit Him. Lack of faith is kryptonite to the manifestation of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 13:58). I encounter my Heavenly Father in such powerful ways 🤯. But the fact is you're supposed too. If you're not . . why not? Isreal denied the dunamis of God and it didn't go too well for them. Psalm 78:40-42 - _"How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert! Yes, again and again they tempted God, And _*_limited the Holy One of Israel._*_ They _*_did not remember His power:_*_ The day when He redeemed them from the enemy"_ Do not bury your faith because of fear (Matt 25:14-30). Fear is not of God. He wants you to know ALL that He IS. Intimacy is key. He gave us His sufficient word to give us the knowledge to encounter and commune with Him, not to replace Him. John 5:39-40 ‐ _"You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life."_
Ah, the spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet after all. Here she is not twitching, falling, acting drunk, laughing and making odd noises at odd times when she speaks, but when with a different audience, she behaves very differently.
Hmmm, I must have missed something in this video b/c I didn't hear anything about instructing the woman to disobey her husband. Heidi told the woman to love her husband and cherish him and that would be a great witness to the husband. To then find people in her neighborhood to share the love of Jesus - Heidi's advice was to help woman in realizing that we can do missions work in the area where we live and never spend a dime to travel..
Oh no, she is advocating that a woman preach to her husband?? A married woman with an unbelieving husband? Paul said let him be won WITHOUT the word. Jesus said remain in the calling wherein you were called.
