I just added (and did a video on my channel) of the RPM steering kit last week!!! Now I see yours. I live about 10mins from the warehouse, so I cruised by the warehouse and picked mine up. GREAT STAFF THERE! All friendly people!

This is my first investment with them and when I made my video, I told people WHY I decided to upgrade and why it's so much easier when using RPM steering parts versus trying to use stock parts to align the steering, etc. I like your setup, brotha! I have to give you some serious credit. I am about to install a OTK heim joint kit on my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Iron Rock Offroad. IRO gives you paper instructions with zero pictures and i was having a hard time finding a video of someone doin an install that was straight to the point. You were straight to the point and very helpful, 80% of youtube mechanic install videos have 2 minute intros, alot of filler and have horrible camera angles and you had none of these. You did very well and ill def be following you.
So wait- you measured the toe with the tie rod end bent like that? Further- you're recommending 2.5 ton steering yet the heim joint you replaced the 1 ton ends with has the same diameter as the previous setup. You need some Fusion4x4 parts happening on your front end.
Before this video I had adjusted my toe to the right spec out on the trail so I could drive it home, and yes the 2.5 kit is a great kit but fusion 4x4 is also out of stock as well
Yeah you’re right on that getting a profesional alignment is always a good idea 😎, I don’t trailer my rig I still drive it to the trails but hopefully one day I’ll have a truck and trailer
Good question! I was honestly thinking about doing that too, the only thing I’m not sure of is how the stabilizer would sit if that makes sense. But maybe i can figure something out
