I have an unhealthy obsession with finding parallels lmao, actually there are s o many for Gu Xiang/Cao Wei Ning and wenzhou, now I’m considering making a video purely to point them out haha 😊 but I doubted anyone else would find that interesting

I have rewatched this, and there are SO many things I love that I can articulate now: 1) This is my favourite song, and so rare for fanvids, so I immediately clicked and hoped it was SAL heirloom 2) The way you included an ensemble cast instead of just the main two! 3) The parallels- just visual poetry, especially the qin jiu xiao bit! Broke my heart but in a good way!

@@cactash5761 it was eight actually, the lyrics “Show me how to lay my sword down For long enough to let you through” really got me feelin some type of way 😭 BUT AH touch is another good fit for him, especially considering he’s losing his senses physically, but gaining so much more emotionally as he falls in love 🥺🥺🥺 I had to take a break from editing though so it’ll be a while before I get to those songs (I have so many videos planned already shhdcjjc)
