Osie is now the Queen of the Crab Bucket. Those prox bombs were so perfect. The armoured karuma does have a weakness, it cannot throw sticky, prox, or grenades - it can only use guns.
Ben talking about his son discovering glitches made me think about my own brain. I miss when I was younger and everything in games was some sort of video game magic. These days whenever I see something happen, I think about the mechanics behind it. The assets used. What the devs did to make something that seems impossible possible. I miss just thinking it was magic
You were so desperate for understanding that you peered behind the curtain but now that you've tasted the forbidden fruit of knowledge all you crave is the blissful ignorance you once had.
Many call Qui-gon the first fully "Grey Jedi" shown in the movies. That his allegiances weren't necessarily fully with the Jedi but more just with the Force in general. Does the Jedi forbid me from gambling? Sure, but the Force told me to do it. But the Force, tho...
Ben, you know you can change the keyboard bindings right? It is like people who refuse to turn off Sticky Keys when they regularly mash shift. Like in Minecraft where people continually throw stuff into the lava by accident, change the drop item key.
@@Ronald98 Original 6? There's a whole discussion about the nature of the original Trilogy, and how the first was meant to be a stand-alone, but that doesn't matter for this. Even if we include Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor, there were only 5 movies in the '77-'85 span. I suppose the Holiday Special could count since it was 2 hours. But it was 2 hours of incoherence that Lucas tried scrubbing from the world. It took another 15 years for the Prequel Trilogy to happen, 20 for completion. And Lucas was in a very different place at that time. Those movies are very different compared to the original three and can not be grouped with them as "The Original 6" specifically. "The first 6 (mainline)" would be fine, but not "Original", there is a difference.
@@Samael1113?? There is a difference yes but not that much.. i would love to see the prequels over any of the new movies.. even if you didn't like them, the bigger majority of people still say that there is only 6 movies in the star wars franchise.
@@Ronald98 Your combined use of the words "Original 6" Implies that Episodes 4-6 and 1-3 are part of the same story arc and initial vision of the creator. This is not the case, even though they are part of the same umbrealla of the Star Wars franchise. It has nothing to do with the Disney movies. Everything to do with your use of the language and how you are connecting the first 6 movies like they were written, built and designed as the original vision of Lucas, when they were not. In any way. When episode 4 was created in '77, Lucas thought it was going to be a flop, and wrote it as a self-contained movie with very limited world-building. When it succeeded, he fleshed out the world-building to the point of having a rough outline, but no major specifics outside of the Luke Skywalker "Hero's Journey" story arc. This is what was seen in Episode 5 and 6. 20 years later, after setting up his G-canon in his brain, he decided to tell the Anakin Story Arc of Episodes 1-3. Though, because George is inconsistent with directing and making sense of his world-building, it was really Obi Wan's story arc. Most of the Anakin stuff just weighs the prequels down. There is a world of difference between the Original Trilogy and the Prequels Also, you would be wrong that kids haven't seen the original trilogy (The prequels is debatable though lol). Just like Gen X-ers fell in love with the original trilogy through their Boomer parents, which opened the franchise up to them, such that the prequels were financially viable and successful... Gen X-ers are showing the original trilogy to their Zoomer kids (actually the special edition because the original trilogy never made it off VHS). This is the reason why Disney paid Lucas billions and the Rey trilogy was financially viable. Even if each generation's first experiences with Star Wars is different and their impressions of the franchise evolves differently.
Ben ranting about the grenade button next to the "jump out of car" button reminded me of playing fallout 4 the other day... I went to squish a rad roach, and chucked a grenade directly at it... I was like "why Todd?? WHYYYY!?!??" out of ALL the like 100+ buttons on a keyboard, that could share functionality, "bash" and "chuck grenade" is probably the WORST possible combination!!
The level of incompetence in that second race was peak yogscast! Lol! With everyone ganging up on Ravs, but somehow managing to cuck each other at the same time, and Ben accidentally jumping out of his car when he tried to throw that sticky early on. Then when everyone kept running into things cause they were trying to cuck someone else. Oh man! Never change, Yogscast. Never change.
Ah, glitches. I'm watching Duncan's old Minecraft series, and the amount of times Lewis says "these modpacks are a bit glitchy" when encountering any new mechanic, even if he was told about it 5 minutes ago in the questbook - it's mind boggling.
Holy fuck that second race was phenomenal, might has well have bet on it cause there was literally no way to know who was coming out first on that one.
The Armored Kuruma is actually just as fast as all of the other choices basically. The actual drawback to bulletproof by default is that he can't use bombs at all. The real OP is the Duke of Death. Its bulletproof and explosion resistant and you can throw bombs.
3:37 Since some of the things they've said in other episodes imply the Yogs haven't watched The Clone Wars: Qui Gon Gin was the first Jedi to figure out how to become a Force Ghost. He's just that extra.
I LOVED Book of Boba Fett, Mando, and all the new Star Wars content! It's all been so good. I respect everyones opinions even if they didn't like it. Also loved the Qui Gon Jin joke Osie made. That was clever! 8:04 Osie's noise reminded me of that frog meme that makes that noise.
They mentioned the idea for a qui-gon Jin series, but the only thing that came to mind was Star Wars Detours possibly having an episode of qui-gon screwing around as a force ghost.
Where was it valid in this video? If you meant Osie's in the second race, their tires were popped basically the whole time, their car wasn't really the problem.
We need more of the screwing over like in the last race. A real throwback to the good old times. It's just missing someone waiting with a rocket launcher at a wallride.
@@MH-hu5pi yeah, unfortunately it's hard to find the trailer because it was exclusive to people at star wars celebration, but I believe 3 episodes are about younger qui-gon and Dooku, and 3 episodes are various points in Ahsoka's life.
Lewis acting like he has NO control over where his car goes. Wheels, Ben, whatever he hits is purely random and not him being a bad driver or possibly being blind. Same reason he sees people in the inanimate in TTT.
