HELD HOSTAGE. **emotional, not clickbait** 

Wow, just wow. His story is truly inspirational. He is the literal example of what it means to be a maverick and he shows how important it is to live your life to the fullest. Sometimes, it just takes one experience to change our lives and I can see that his story has flipped his life for the better and it will continue to flip many other peoples' lives. LIKE THIS is you believe he needs to keep inspiring people, keep being a maverick, and keep living his life to the absolute fullest. All in all, this shows that you never know what tomorrow will bring, so you need to live today like it is the last.

I have an inspiring story I'd like to share. It's a story of how Logan possibly saved me from a life of depression and how somebody you love could be here smiling, talking one minute and gone the next. Back in December, I was home with my mom and dad. We were laughing, talking about our favorite movies. Everything was good, normal. I went to bed soon after and just a few hours later, I woke up to my mom screaming my name. I knew it was bad, so I ran out to find my dad laying in my mom's arms, fighting just to breathe. He stopped moving, we tried to revive him, but I already knew he was gone. I just can't stop hearing my mom screaming "don't leave me!" as he took that last breath. They were married for 22 years. He was only 45. I was depressed, suffering from PTSD and I wasn't sure if I wanted to live anymore. But, then I was on RU-vid and I came across some dude I thought was Owen Wilson. I learned his name was Logan Paul and I continued to watch his vlogs everyday. He motivated me. I now have the will to live. I always wanted to move to LA, but now more than ever. There are so many more things to do in this world than to sit in bed all day thinking about why my dad is no longer here. I don't want to die that way. I want to die a free person, somebody willing to do anything to live and be happy. I want to die a maverick. Logan helped me more than he will ever know and I really do hope he sees this and knows just what he did. If you could like this comment, help him see it, I'd really appreciate it because I'd really like him to know. But, here is the lesson. You will never know the last time you will see someone you love or the last time they will see you. So, just make sure you show your love for them and make sure you know life is ALWAYS worth living. There's so many things I didn't get the chance to say or do with my dad. He left with no warning. The last thing he said to me: "Goodnight night, Son." He closed the door and was gone just a few hours later.

My heart goes out to all the people who have had this happen to them

This made me cry so much and it should never EVER happened to anyone no one deserves to feel what this man felt at that time. Its unbelievable that how much is that anything can happen at any time one minute you're fine,happy & well but boom it can change in an instant by someone who is fucked up. Especially now in a society in this time shit is happening everywhere and it SHOULDN'T just because a person wants to hurt millions of humans, people, people like you! And yet that's so fucked up I can't explain how much that would break you buy seeing these types of things. Jeez I'm speechless right now in tears I cant its just so fucked up....

Easily one of the most hard working guys that I CAN FUCKING EVER THINK OF. I come home tired from work at times and just want to chill and do nothing. Then I see Logan and he has a vlog, he has to study his script, he has to workout, he has to be on a diet, he has to shoot for movies, he has to direct music videos, he has 3 projects with some of the biggest people in the world, and I'm complaining about a lazy ass headache, no wonder I'm not at his level. This guy deserves it.

TBH Logan u made me realize something today... I am a swimmer and I've been a swimmer for the past four years... I want to go to the olympiques in 2020 just like you. Anyway almost a year ago I found out I was epileptic and he doctor told me I wasn't allowed to swim anymore but I made my decision to be a Maverick and live my life to the fullest, so I go to practice every day of the week risking my life to do what I love and I think that's what everyone should do

I can completely relate to this as I have been in a similar situation. I was 8 and walking home from the shop with my lunch in my hand and I stop at a corner to cross and I waited for the cars to pass, and then a van stopped and a man that was inside it waved me forward to it, me having the whole 'stranger danger' thing hammered into my brain I shook my head and he made the stop ✋🏻 sign with his hand and went to pull over. I ran as fast as I could to the shop. If I hadn't ran I would maybe be completely different but I'm glad it happened as it has showed me that no one at all is perfect and there are a but ton of fucked up people in the world and I hope that no one has to go through that. So please stop complaining and enjoy your life, because others can't ❤️

My brother went out with an 18-year-old boy to go fishing, they had to take off their life jackets to pull the crayfish out of the net then a wave struck them, my brother made it back to shore he almost died, the 18-year-old died. My brother was in the hospital for over 1 month. I was only 10 at the time... It was terrifying.

His story is so moving and it is a complete miracle that he is living and breathing. I think that the chances of this happening to anyone, like living though this t e chances are so slim. I am just happy that he is ok.

No one should go through that, and we have to remember what happened in life or what is going on right now in life but he was very brave to share what happened to Logan and Logan was very nice and he said so much that probably meant the world to him.

this story made me tear up because i just realized that blake isn't the only one that went threw this. many many people went threw this and the sad part is that not all of them survive. i just loved logans reaction, he was so nice and caring and so understanding.

I was held hostage last year with my family when going into my house, we opened the garage and 4 men came out of a car near our driveway with guns, they made us go into the house and 2 of them made us lie on the floor with guns pointing at us, the other 2 ran around upstairs taking all of our TV's and my xbox and they also took our security camera tapa out, I thought I was going to die that day, they took our stuff, cars, money, but that can't replace a life, I am so grateful for the outcome, thank you to anyone who read this whole thing and thank you Logan for the inspiration ❤

Listen, I'm not a very emotional person but hearing this guys story has made me feel so grateful of what I have and the people I have in my life. This has almost happened to me... I was walking back to school from going out for lunch.. A couple guys in a van followed me and 1 other friend.. We had to find a place that didn't have a road so they couldn't find us/follow us... They eventually started to get out the car and start walking towards us.. We found a bottle and threw it at them and ran towards our school.. Our friends were worried sick.. They called the police to try and look for them.. Remember, if you are ever going to go out somewhere without a parent be safe.. Don't let this happen to you.. We were so f*cking scared for our lives..
