I had a feeling from the very beginning that the subject of children was involved with their breakup and so when Ryan came back I was determined not to get sucked into their romance. But I have to admit, even though i knew how it would eventually play out, they were beautiful to watch together. Their history was fascinating. Their spark was undeniable. And they had a touch of that sweet innocence that comes with first love rekindled. I was genuinely sad to see it fall apart at the end. If I were younger and I still thought love was enough, I would be shipping this couple so hard because they do have that *epic* romance to them. But after living my own version of that, I know neither Helen nor Ryan will likely change their mind on the subject of children…nor should either of them expect or try to make the other…and if that takes the two of them down different paths, it’s heartbreaking and disappointing but also for the best. Love doesn’t need to be forever to be meaningful. It just needs to be. This was a lovely tribute to them and their story. I enjoyed every second of it. Fantastic job!
I saw Heather Headley (the actress in this clip) in concert in Little Rock Arkansas with our symphony in ‘19. Magnificent voice, artistry and stage presence. A humble spirit too. One of the best evenings ever.
No they do not need to rekindle. They have history, each other’s first love yes but they want different things. I’m more interested in the Erik and Helen story line. There is something there but it got cut off early b/c Ryan came back…
@@Terry5790 Honestly, at this point, I’m torn and I feel so bad for Helen. She *always* loved and wanted Ryan but her desire for children kept them apart. Now that he wants what she wants, she might not be able to give him or herself that. The whole situation is just gut-wrenching!

Vanessa Valentina at the end of it all, i was team eric because he was there to support helen when she was in need of someone & i loved him for that! he was shooting his shot all season but he kept his place until it was time. no rush at all on the upload! i was so thankful to find something.. i’ve been looking through youtube & tumblr since the show ended & this is the first thing i’ve found, so i’m grateful for this. whenever you get a chance :)
yes, I ship the two couples jajaj so I don't mind helen and eric being together because i think they can be really happy, helen and ryan would never be completely happy because even though they love each other they don't want the same things. I really think that ryan is his great first love but eric will be the love of his life. Yes I also searched hoping to find something because they are so cute but I did not find anything :(
I think Ryan’s son is Isaac. I get the feeling he had a fling with Peggy, hence she left for a year. Peggy appears to be empathetic towards Noreen, being pregnant and alone.
Why do casting agents always choose black women who are too old to play the part that women is nearing her 50s and as young as black women look they have access to black women who look young and youthful. It’s like they don’t what what girls to feel insecure so they purposely choose inaccurately that woman looks old enough to be that’s guys mother in law not his love interest
