You Two are inspirations for women I am proud of you as a woman it's difficult to be in technology field I am also on the same track doing my masters in health informatics hopefully I will go far
Dear Helen, It is my first time to watch your program because of Dr. Timnit. I mean due the current issue with Google when I was searching Dr. Timnit found you as well Dr Doe. To tell frankly I am very inspired by all of you. This will have great impact on the world when it comes on women's issue. I hope to see you in the future impacting world wide recognition our African society. Dr Timnit you are already on the right track and keep it up. Time is on your side. I wish you all the best. Thanks
I’m really Proud of you guys. Specially Dr. T. I like the way you are explaining everything and I’m Proud of you. You don’t even Mix. Much English on your interview I wish everyone could be like you specially on the interview. And tell the reality behind all this success. I mean the Racist part of the white peoples. Another thing what I like from you is On your last speech you said don’t wait for Someone’s help all the time “do your Part too.” The reason I said this is the host trying to blame the Mathematics teachers as an example but finally you answer her questions”do your best!” 👍🏽
For what ? For prizing her motherland Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, for visiting and do projects in Baherdar? For giving a lot of credit for her school in Addis (Nazereth School)as her great foundation for her life long strength. Everrhing she is mentioning is Ethiopia! Were did she mention any thing of Eritrea? No, because she is not Ertrean.
I’m Catholic that’s why your message stands out to me. Yes, Catholic schools or the religion itself always produce humble people. “በስራቸው ታውቋቸዋላችሁ “ ብሏል ጌትችን እየሱስ ክርስቶስ🙏🏽
@@Infoismylife yo as we see she is more convertible of being erhiopian even in her wiki profile she mentioned her nationality as Ethiopian and even in this interview she didn't mention anything related to Eritrea or being eritrean infact she said she would be where she is today if it wasn't because of her background like the school she wwnt to, the place she grew up and the way she was raised in Ethiopia so why is it bothering you when she is way to comfortable in her Ethiopian background.... Let her be what she wants lol its like you're forcing her to be what she is not
@@selamzeleke5974 I don't know I don't speak the language of this video. I only know that she is of FULL ERITREAN blood. So pure Eritrean that she was faced deportation as a minor, from a country she was born and raised. I was not born and raised in Eritrea. But just like her her blood her DNA is always Eritrean and Eritrean will never forget it. Especially she won't forget it because she had to flee the country "she belongs too" because no matter how much you celebrate her, no matter how hard you try some people want to claim her, she is Eritrean. 🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷
@@selamzeleke5974 she didnt say she was proud to be Ethiopian, she only mentioned she was born and raised in Addis. Both her parents are Eritrean. But it doesnt matter, she is a strong and smart habesha woman and makes all ethio and eritreans proud! I went to Nazareth school and do remember her.. She was one year younger than me...
Great and inspiring ladies! I applaud Helen for her positive role in trying to bring out the best and inspiring stuff to the community. However there's one comment that I didn't like that Helen made about Maths teachers in Ethiopia. The fact that she tried to generalize her Maths teachers in Ethiopia as bad and blaming them for her low scores is very disheartening. Nazareth School being one of the best Schools in Ethiopia where so many great women emerged had great Maths teachers including female maths teachers. For her to give that type of comment generalizing as Maths teachers in Ethiopia didn't know how to give the course while maths teachers in the U.S do was really unnecessary and wrong! She was probably weak in Maths while being in Addis like many other students since the method of teaching and curriculum is a lot tougher in Ethiopia than in the U.S. That's whey we all become straight A students when we move to the States. Generalizing and discrediting all maths teachers in Ethiopia like that was very disappointing!! Please don't do that again! We owe them a lot!!
That's true. Actually the people that made me who I am are mostly my math teachers they may yell or insult but they have good intentions at heart if it wasnt for them we would have been pampered and would think that the world would be easy which is why I think that they actually helped us see that we need to be stronger to survive. Thank u for pointing that out.
@@Infoismylife fool i bet, prove it to me!! I can post plenty of links of her projects that she is working in Ethiopia because that where she got her basic knowledges from and also aa she said she wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't because of her background so thats why she adore mama Ethiopia. Its obvious that she would be a housewife with 5 annoying kids if she was born and raised in Eritrea. FUN FACT!
@@selamzeleke5974 We Eritrea 🇪🇷 people's we are not like you. We don't exposes our community secrets on public. I will send you the links again find out the truth by yourself. www.google.com/amp/s/conandaily.com/2020/12/05/timnit-gebru-biography-13-things-about-eritrean-ethiopian-ai-researcher/amp/
Its not that she doesnt care but I think she is making a statement, as in this is my natural black african hair and I am not going to straighten it to conform to western ideals of hair....I actually admire her for it
