I know it’s been 2 years, but I’ve gotta ask, don’t you find it strange to look at a recording of someone performing, and then go ”I wish someone else performed this” when there are recordings of Körberg performing this, which you could listen to instead? It’s quite a hilarious situation, isn’t it?
@@sum41foreverown No no my friend, don’t get upset. It’s a question of comparing performances of the same material. I was eager to hear Terfel’s. Having heard it, I issued my comment. Tommy Körberg couldn’t touch Terfel’s performances on the operatic stage. Crossover usually doesn’t work. This is one example. Have a nice day.
Very nice. Trying to get my head around Terfel. First I have seen of him singing a G4. I just don't get it. So pretty but he sang pretty much all low stuff and for Opera, he pushed the low too much. Not pretty and not powerful...
A super excerpt. I do wish the whole concert was available and the music theatre Kristina fran Duvemala. The latter is moving and it should be better known outside of Sweden. George Brown
SO-O-O delighted that you have brought Helen Sjoholm to the U.S. Are you familiar with the film "As It Is in Heaven"? Americans might just like it -- even if reading the English text is helpful. (BTW, the film context is most adequate sans words.) More of Helen, please.
