Folks will see this and say, it is just a bridge washed out...what they don't realize is in these areas the bridge is part of the Only road going in and out, and everyone above it is stuck...not like the next road in and out is just a block or two away...

I saw a video of a person who said they needed to travel to their in-laws house just 4 miles away. Because of their road was washed out, the detour would take 2.5 hours. It seems ridiculous but people don’t understand how these mountain roads are.

Don’t be melodramatic. Of course it will after a time. Things get rebuilt. People go back to their day to day routine. Adjustments are made. It’s not like it’s not the first flood in history.

Have you ever been involved in any disaster relief? I have on three occassions and the last thing we needed was some high muckitymuck enterupting our efforts. Biden is supporting these people the best way possible, give them the tools and get out of the way.
