That is what happened 9/26 to 9/28 when Helene made landfall in Florida and came ripping through part of the US that don't normally get hurricane weather. It went as far as Illinois and Indiana!

Great beginner video introduction into prepping. You forgot a “3.” It’s generally accepted that 3 hours without shelter can be deadly. Most outdoor deaths are a direct result of exposure. Can one survive longer than 3 hours without shelter? Of course. Can one die of exposure, ie. hypothermia, in less than 3 hours? Most definitely! Also in the case of preparedness, I would not choose a Zippo for several reasons. First and most importantly, fuel. Zippo fuel will evaporate over time even from inside the lighter itself. Next is the flints. Zippo flints wear out. As a matter of fact, I have put used Bic flints from empty Bic lighters into my Zippo lighters. Little hack there for you. Finally, Bic lighters float. The less fuel in them the better they float. But they all float to some degree. As a bonus you can get them in yellow, orange and white. Which are excellent colors for emergency use. Just found your channel and I like it. Keep up the good work!
