This was an incredibly calm day for a scenic paddle from Helford River to Falmouth town and back with a little detour to take in some caves along the return leg.
Helford is a great sheltered place for launch and a paddle up the Helford river when wind or conditions make the area difficult for learners. The scenery will add enormous appeal to any normal human being learner or not.
The car park in Helford is up the hill and wee walk from the launch at the ford, so with that in mind, take your wheels / trolley if you can. The road and the ford crossing is barely wider than a car, so you won't make friends trying to take the car to the water.
This is a beautiful part of the UK with plenty to see along the way
