Really would appreciate an update on the road north of Kaikoura

It does look like the coastal uplift has resulted in a much wider terrace at the bottom of the mountains for the road and railway to be relocated if some of the slips prove to be too unstable to be cleared easily.

amazing how the quake shifted a large length of railway track onto the road without it breaking up.
