more like 15000-16000 :) and yes it is expensive. but it is often done together with a bigger job that must have a helicopter. that is the case here. also it saves days of work if you were to do it by hand

Depends on the season. And varies a lot. In good wx during the summer you can easily fly our max which is 8 hrs. On slow days with small jobs it can be 1 hr.
