A Disneyland flyover is by far the most frequent request I’ve gotten. Thankfully I was able to make it happen. Los Angeles is usually a vibrant and congested city. Due to recent events, things are very different right now in Los Angeles. To see what LA looks like from the air I flew my helicopter on Sunday April 19th 2020 from 5PM - 6PM over the following areas but most especially Disneyland. This is an update to the video I posted flying over Los Angeles on March 20th 2020.

Hopefully some normality will return soon! I'm about to be furloughed from 3rd May as they are rotating the staff on duty at my airline job. Hope to visit as soon as possible. Its been just over a year since my last LA trip.

MFL it’s technically a no fly zone, so technically not legal. But I’m sure since the air traffic is so minimal they don’t care since it’s not as populated area currently

For a person who is fascinated with how the park is laid out and how they do such a great job to hide the backstage buildings and equipment so well from the guest this was an amazing video! I often stare at my aerial posters taking it all in but it was even more cooler to see a fly over of the park. Thanks for sharing!

I was doing the same thing. I live in Corona but used to be a courier in Orange County and I was just looking at all the streets trying to identify landmarks and stuff. Looks a lot different from the air.

Bel Air is fun to drive around. And the hotel with the same name is discreetly tucked amid all the real estate. My daughter and I went for a charity dinner one night and saw a coyote on our way in.

As a Disney fanatic, a STAR WARS fanatic, an aerial photography fanatic, and a music fanatic, this video was off-the-charts for me. Loved every second. I also always marvel and geek out on the protocols of air traffic control. I hardly understand a word of it but something about the orderliness of the skies appeals to me on many levels. When I'm gardening in HB I always wonder now in that heli in the sky is you! I wouldn't mind seeing Shipley's nature center from above, then straight above that is Golden West College! Then Maybe mile square garden. Be cool to see all the local parks from above! Thanks for the content. Love it!

Man that was so cool! Loved seeing Disneyland from above, that was so awesome. Also really enjoyed the flights over the parks and small lakes and open spaces and stuff. I keep telling my friends who have never been to L.A., that the L.A. area is like a giant playground of fun stuff to do and you could spend months there visiting fun places and still not do it all. Man I would love to ride my motorcycle on those empty freeways right now. Anyway, great video once again, looking forward to the next one! (maybe Avalon flyover at some point?)

I remember watching this on a Zoom call with a group of fellow Cast Members when we were furloughed….it was great! Upon revisiting this tonight, it has not lost it’s luster. I was an intern at Disney HQ in Burbank many years ago and got to go "backstage" at Disneyland. It is indeed "industrial" as you describe in the video; Disney really puts an emphasis to hide the ugly back areas from public view. Great video as always! Looking forward to more

I lived within 15 miles of Disneyland my first 35 years. 7 years of that within walking distance. I'd get a yearly pass and sometimes I'd just go over for a couple hours before I went to work in the afternoon. Pirates is my favorite too. I was highly annoyed and displeased when they changed the ride for political correctness in the 90's.

In 1979 my wife and I lived in Buena Park and I worked at Disneyland in the security department. I have never seen it from this perspective before, it really shows like you said how much false front there is. Really cool thanks for sharing.

Was I impressed? It earned you a new sub. !! My brother lives in Sylmar, just off the 210. and when I was out there to visit for his 60th birthday, we drove past Disneyland. I can tell you coming from a rural area of Michigan on my 5 acres, the people I saw in this video are never ending. I couldn't fathom living out there. When I visited, traffic was normal, stopped or crawling. My closest town has 14,500 people. And it it takes me more than 10 minuets to go from one end to the other during our rush hour, I'm pissed.

Roger B nah, nothing can stop Vegas, only a hiccup in time. Disney on the other hand is gonna come back with its over priced tickets and have less employees and crew and they’ll screw us all as they have been for the past 5 or 6 years. Glad I have a condo in Vegas and glad I don’t have annual passes for Disney anymore (8 passes at $400 a piece is too much)

Roger B yeah I’m young and arrogant. I just said Vegas will survive and Disney needs to learn a lesson. What’s wrong having a condo in Vegas? Can’t you afford one. And 8 annual passes to Disney are over 2800$ to when in 2008 the cost was about 1200$ Disney is over priced and former employees admit it, just look around here on RU-vid. And being 50 I don’t think I’m young. And I’m not hiding out in my condo in Vegas, I’m sitting in my home in San Diego watching RU-vid and playing video games, getting paid to do so.

This was absolutely awesome! Thank you for this flyover of Disneyland! I just watched your DCA flyover and you mentioned this one. As I said in the DCA video comments, I worked at the Disneyland Park back in the early 80s. I left California shortly after I left my Disneyland job. I never seen DCA, but I love the Magic Kingdom! I basically grew up in Disneyland. I miss it. I'm sure someone already mentioned it in the comments, but if not, here's what I know about the PFR for the Disney Parks: Walt Disney had the PFR put in place back in 1955-ish, from what I understand. He didn't want any aircraft flying over to distract the guest's "Disneyland experience". Walt also had a building hight restriction put in place for anything around the Park. Thank You!
