Helicopter Walkaround: The new IFR version of the Airbus H125 

During this year’s Heli-Expo convention in Anaheim, California, we joined the director of the light helicopters program at Airbus Helicopters, Jérome Ronssin, who gave us a closer look at the new instrument flight rules (IFR) version of the popular H125 aircraft.
Airbus announced the H125 IFR program in conjunction with Genesys Aerosystems in 2023, and Federal Aviation Administration certification is currently underway.
In addition to new glass-panel avionics from Genesys, the IFR-capable H125 will feature redundant systems to enable continued safe flight in instrument meteorological conditions in case of a system failure.
