@@Lornoor It takes a good deal of skill and experience to fly a heli, if the pilot doesn't know where he is then he wouldn't be a pilot. The guy pretending' to guide him in has no idea the danger he is in and he's also not doing the pilot any favors.
Some yachts have crew standing by wearing fire gear and hoses at the ready during helicopter operations. Some yachts have a barefoot dude in shorts and Polo shirt.
You already know the answer to the first if you have a divorce lawyer. You see I didn't know that, because I've never been married. Thanx for the tip!!🤣🤣🤣
That'll be me in a few years...I'm working hard, saving money and aiming high! Shoot for the stars, that's what my Dad always taught me. And I have...and now it's paying off. I'm telling you...in a few years time I'll be able to afford a kayak and I'll be out there paddling around looking at yachts like that! Can't wait!!!! #dreambig
From your attitude, it's like you already have the yacht, chopper and a private jet in hanger 🤜🏼🤛🏼 stay on it and before you know it, you'll look back and laugh at the hard times ❤️
I had the pleasure of piloting a R44 for an hour around the southern tip of Norway with an instructor, with absolutely no training beforehand. I went from never having been in a helicopter, to piloting one in 5 minutes. You have to focus really hard when hovering, as a 1cm input on the cyclic stick sends you flying forwards really fast. This was very impressive!
@@user-nu1vn3yy9s Everybody on the ground makes a lot of noise and must be banned except for..... I can't think of any reason not to ban everybody. Everybody is banned! No more hollering and carrying on. Complete silence!
That yacht was commissioned to OCEANFAST shipyard (Australia) by ex golf player GREG NORMAN under the name of AUSSIE RULES. After being sold for a first time it was re-named FLORIDIAN and became after being sold once again NOMAD. At the origin, their was no helipad at the back of that ship. A fishing boat was parked where that helipad has been added.
Don’t worry folks. You can currently rent this yacht for “only” €420000 per week in high season or €380000 in low season. For us mere plebs who can’t afford to buy one.
Don't know if anyone knows...if you have your FAA license and you are flying off of a yacht internationally but only land on the yacht never on land, are you allowed or do you need an EU license/rating? Or even if you do land how does an FAA license work internationally?
Absolutely perfect landing, but it feels so dangerous to have people on the same level as the plane of the rotor! What if a sudden gust of wind makes the helicopter move 2-3 meters and he kills 2 people?
You're absolutely right, I'm not sure if that guy was practicing dance moves or what, but a decent pilot never needs a ground dummy to show him where to drop the skids. We've flown commercially for over 20 years and Always make sure people are at a safe distance. That guy just thought he'd impress some rich chick on board by waving his hands.😁
@@ShaneBoyle Exactly! That Dumbass should have been directing people back to a safe distance rather than attempting to instruct a helicopter pilot where and how to land, they are well trained in that and don't need anyone waving their hands in the air for assistance.
You all have misunderstood. If he was trying to direct the landing he would have had sticks or lights in his hands. He was obviously just trying to dry his nail polish.
I couldn’t land a single engine plane consistently in Microsoft Flight Simulator in the early ‘90s on my Dell computer. Don’t think I’d stand a chance at this.
As a helicopter pilot that has been landing on Yachts for over 30 years, this was as simple as squeezing the pores from your nose. Went you want to be trained on lading your machine while the Yacht is going 37 knots in 15ft waves, give me a ring…
So you're saying it's hard then? Because I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "squeezing the pores from your nose" but it sure sounds hard and painful.
@@MagicMatt504 you obviously missed the punch line from the most commented post on this thread…. And you wonder why we can’t get stuff accomplished in this country. Wow
@@upspd3 also I was the first to comment on your post, so not sure what you mean by that either. This definitely isn't the "most commented post on this thread". P.S. this is a video, not a thread. Perhaps you meant "most replied comment to this video"? But no, that doesn't make sense either because if your comment was supposed to be a reply to another, you surely would have simply replied and not made a brand new comment like a moron. So we'll just have to stick with the issue being your severe lack of grasp on the English language.
