Thanks for the vid, nice fix. Once loaded, where are you pulling those other panels from? What key do you hit or how do you access them? I'm getting pretty decent with helios but I don't know how to access those other panels. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey there! Anymore the viewport thing isn’t really necessary. Helios used to throw out warnings about the viewports being put on a panel, not sitting on the actual monitor. Since then the dev has reworked Helios so that it just lets you know but doesn’t look like it’s an error. It never hurt anything the way it comes in the profile, but a lot of people voiced concerns for the cautions. In a nut shell, it’s not a necessary thing to do. - as far as accessing the panels, you just need to make sure the layers are unlocked then click on the item on the screen ( select it so it has a green box around it ) then double click it and it will open that panel up into its own tab. You can also select whatever from the layer mount first, then double click on it on the screen. This works better sometimes. Many times it will just select the main background ( you can use ESC to deselect). As for copying and pasting, Use Ctrl+c to copy anything you want then click over to a different panel, or monitor even and use Ctrl+v to paste whatever you selected ( bindings will copy too). I have several items from the left and right panels copied onto the main dashboard in my f-16 profile. Even fuel gauges.
@@MadKreator37 Guuuuuuuuuump! You're a GD genius! Ok, I got everything you laid on me, and thank you thank you thank you. I have just one more question and I will not bother you again. As far as the other panels are concerned. I saw that you were bringing up the landing gear panel and others on left aux panel and of course as you said you have these pasted to your dash so you can call them up. So where are these other panels ,left and right with landing gear panel and fuel /hyd/ clock etc? How do I see them to chop things from?

But for other hidden panels, in the layer list there will be some where the show/hide icon ( eyeball) is greyed out.. click on it and it will unhide that panel in the editor. Same as before, double click on it to bring it to its own tab and copy and paste from there.. there may be other panels inside of panels so if its not selecting the exact control, try double clicking again. In my f-15e profile I have stacks and stacks of panels before getting to the actual buttons and switches. More of a pain to grab individual controls, but easier for people to copy entire panels/ groups of controls if they want to do their own layouts
