Oh good, as you were talking, I was wondering why, since people don't yet have bodies, the rich man wanted water, but you answered it. I'm still not sure where we go when we die. So when we die, we don't yet have bodies, not until Jesus returns to earth? And have you done any study on where we will be during the millenium?
Great Questions! So to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8) and Jesus told the their on the cross you will be WITH ME. So we are definitely with the Lord at death, but you are correct in that we will not have bodies until the resurrection (also see revelation 6:9). When Jesus returns we receive bodied again. I am not prepared at this moment to say much about the Millennial Reign-except as it pertains to hell. The first resurrection according to Rev 20 is at the beginning of the 1000 years, and the second resurrection is at the end. So we would be reigning with Jesus during that millennium as the devil is bound. After that the unsaved will be brought out of hell, and they (as well as Satan and hell itself) will be cast into the lake of fire. Thanks for watching!
You and no one else can say with any amount of assuredness or reasonableness that hell (or heaven) are actual locations. LOL. I'm sure in your imagination they are real, but not in reality. Good luck my friend.
Well obviously this is a faith-based channel and is not directed to convince the skeptic, but I am happy to have a conversation about why I believe the Bible-I guarantee it is not for any reason you might assume about me. If you aren’t interested in that, that’s fine. Either way, your comments are always welcome here.
