I like to casually watch HLL competitive streams with commentary and bird view but matches in this game are usually more than an hour so compressed decent edits with likeable hosts like this one are much appreciated.
I was gunner in the medium sherman vs panzer IV fight. About 1 min before the video starts our spotter called an enemy airhead landing in the hedgeline with bunker. He also noticed that there were enemy infantry protecting it so we figured there might be an OP as well. Tank fight started awkward, with ramming into each other, when we separated we both took 1 round to hull. The driver made the call to push the possible airhead/op so we drove back there took one round to try and splash the possible spawns, then waited for the panzer IV to push.
I love this type of content! It gives so much insight on what teams do to counter each other, potential strategies in action, and commentary/advice from you commentators! Not to mention it’s just extremely entertaining haha love your videos mono :)
This is riveting. Yes we need more of this type of content, especially for this game. With the maps being so big with so many players with such an enormous emphasis on strategic coordination, admin cam commentary by people who understand the game may be the only way to get a big picture perspective of what goes on in a HLL match. This game has enormous spectator potential. I will tune into every video like this.
+ Multiple angles recorded by different commentators could be good for examining different fronts of the match but that would make editing more intensive.
only seen 4min of the vid, and already love the style of a commentary vid by you guys, it gives a good insight on what tactics to use in certain situations
Oh snap! I am in this video!! Thats awesome Mono, I've been playing since beta, so I've been in Karmakut videos, Phlydaily videos, DIXX videos when they were still playing, but playing with you guys, Freshbackedgoods, Raz you and AlpineSniper is always the best! (MurphysIrish) See y'all out there next time! I need to get back on the discord.
I've missed the Admin Cam style vids you had with Incheon, great to see this content back on the channel! And Raz is a great guy, great to have him showcased here as well as long as the Podcast takes a break
"You've never seen WAR like this"--- of course i have, the guys name is Tatum and he is making this since quite a while and it looks almost cinematic 🙂
Could you place the commentator screens in the upper left and right so that we can see the battle on the ground? This was like watching pro teams advance and getting to see both sides advance. Poutene Princess was great with the satchel charge on the panther too.
@@MrLinuxFreak that involves streaming while also recording multiple different video feeds at the same time which can't be done without a custom setup which we don't have.
Love this Format Mono! I watch all your vids, and this one has been a favorite! It's great seeing the admin view, and getting play-by-play rundown of the game from that view!
I absolutly loved it, we need more of it pls. So much fun for you doing it and for us while watching this. It's nice to see the game from another perspective.
Really cool to see the battles from this view! Like when you zoom into third person perspective into battles. Would like to see more of the tactical map - and with the game paused hear some of your own thoughs of how you'd play the game as commander. The commentary of how you'd use the half-track was interesting.
I was in a game with Raz earlier today! I was in a 76 and his squad just sat on top of us and gave us great support and we had a lot of laughs, fun guy to play with!
Started watching your videos yesterday man and I stream too (just started) lol but I watched every single HLL vid you have. It helped me learn the game way better then I thought I had knowledge of. Definitely subbed. Solid work. Solid detail. Straight to the point. Keep up the solid content 👌
About halftracks - I would say it all depends on the map and where are strongpoints, sometimes halftrack can work really well as a driving there and use it as a flanking garrison. Sometimes it's good to time it with airhead - put airhead for example on north, drive with halftrack to south
This was great mono! As a console guy it’s amazing to see the battle from this view. And just watch how it pans out and how to rotate forces, very informative video I’d say!
PLEASE start doing full admin cam gameplays. I love watching these while going to sleep. Nobody does long HLL admin videos. I’m running out of HLL videos to watch and would love for you to create a playlist of full HLL gameplays from admin cams and narration!🙌🏼 Also can you turn on the in game coms?? I love hearing how squads work together while pushing. Communication is awesome to hear and will provide you will a lot of funny moments. EDIT -(nevermind I didn’t realize you had them turned on)
Definitely tune into the streams from time to time! The full commentary of the match is on my twitch 😁 We do turn off the command chat but what we'll do instead is go to the commander/SLs and interview them live while playing. We'll ask them what their strategy is as well as their pov It creates interesting dialog and perspective! Much luv see you on the battlefield
Admin camera is very cool! Helps us understand the map from a different perspective! I think you should continue with these vids. I think you should do some full games and some edited games.
I remember on Friday nights a guy who sounded like hank hill would watch public matches on Friday night battlefield it was always fun to watch. Also funny to see the deathball of the entire team just running point to point. I like these types of videos.
I still don't understand how Hell Let Loose from the air looks so sharp and has such long viewdistance while Squad as soon as you go 200 feets up it starts to blur out, add distance for everywhere on the horizon and just looks a lot more outdated even thou both games are on the same engine. Incredible.
I agree, however I think moving into some of the armor battles and half track plays are important as it gives you insight into how the commander is utilizing resources
You've never experienced true fear in a game until you've been on the receiving end of a bombing run, accurate enemy artillery with all 3 guns zeroed on your position, and turn a corner to run right into an enemy tank.
Half tracks should be used as a force multiplier and driven by the commander. Best to use it as you’re gaining cap on the objective to immediately get men spawned in near the next point. Tanks need to think and not over-extend, you’re a juicy steak around hungry lion in the bushes. Stay behind infantry, you have range and better eyes to direct and support infantry, it’s 1944 think bunker not blitzkrieg.
This gives me COH vibes somehow, would be interesting to play commander like this (but obv. with vision restrictions to things in FOV of friendlies...)
I have an idea: If you record the screen capture in a separate channel from your webcams, you could probably apply a lot of image stabilization in your video editor, and it would smooth out the camera movement and make it a little less disorienting/jarring during rapid camera movements.
Imagine playing as german ,while the admin watching and you accidently throw m24 stielhandgrenade to inside of halftrack german with full of squad and boom TK kill around 14 men
@@bueno66_ I wasn't able to comment any matches latelty because of scheduling conflicts. Basically, most if not all matches happen during Sat-Sun noon for me and that's usually when I have people over for BBQ or family time.
