Impaler's glory/ piercing aura/ impaler's glory is there for a reason :)

Every single one of these encounters, all the enemies at minimum nullify light. He needs Impalers animus in order to actually hit the enemy

Exactly what @PianoCrab said. If they resist and more so, nullify, drain, repel you need to use, impaler's glory. Vile race's "Impaler Glory" is way better then Fury race's Expand: Piercing Aura effect

@@GamingProg small correction, Vile race grants Impalers glory. Tyrant is omagatoki savage. But yes, Vile impalers glory gives roughly a 3.6x multiplier rather than Fury expand piercing aura, being 1.3x
