This is the only season to feature a returning chef competing with only new chefs, and Robert really suffered for it. Every minor mistake he made was blown out of proportion by his team, leading to more and more inconsistent services, and his continuing health problems pretty much ensured that he was never going to win. Jason from S9 and 12 does not count because he withdrew before the first service
I don't agree with your assessment of Joseph, considering the only reason Joseph was gone so early was because he chose to quit granted his attitude was awful but I don't believe Lovely, Tony and especially Melinda are better than Joseph
@jasmine1stan857 there's a difference between attitude and game for example Russell Kook from season 8 I absolutely despise that guy but I can recognize he played a great game despite his attitude and adding on to the fact that Joseph was not even considered for nomination he was supposed to tell Ramsey what the first and second nominations were makes me assess his game a lot higher than Lovely Tony and Melinda
I feel like Joseph should have been either above or below Tony because he didn't really preform as bad. If he had never rage quit I can see him being a black jacket or close to getting one
no he wouldn't have, y'all base this on nothing just cause he quit. he was just slightly better than Tony Lovely and Melinda but even on his pure cooking ability he showed no potential to even get to black jackets, also you cant see if he never had a rage quit because he is always going to rage quit
To be honest I felt like Ji should've gotten a 2nd chance over Robert I believe even if he didn't get medically taken out he wasn't going to make it pass top 4 whereas Ji had a lot of untapped potential and should've made black jacket if she stayed consistent.
