Just came here to tell you that this was the video that made me buy the game. I paused this at the 40th second, bought it and started playing. 9 hours later, I'm finished with one of the best experiences I had in 2017. So thanks for that!
Mr. PowerPyx. I just want to say thank you for all the hard work you put in to help other gamers and trophy hunters like myself. You do amazing work, keep it up man! Whenever I search for a guide, I usually check to see if you made one first. You're Awesome!
Yea I thought that was bad.... until I got to the part where you’re running through the dark being chased by the beast while trying to figure out where you have to go to find the symbols 🙄😭. Made me appreciate those other creatures
I know it's a bit late but I picked up this game at launch for Xbox One and I just wanted to say thank you for such a great guide. I found a good bunch of the Lore stones by myself, but your guide definitely helped. Thanks for keeping it spoiler free.
Superb guide! Missed #32 using another guide then found this one and wondered why on earth I was using the other one. Thanks heaps, your attention to detail is second to none!
Never too late to play this game! This is the only guide that makes any sense for these lorestones. If you were like me and didn’t remember for some which ones exactly you missed then don’t use the symbols to try and find the right one. They get mixed around on your second play through. You need to find the exact lore stone you missed so go through all of them in the chapter until they are all white to the dot. Once they are all white to the dot you can finish the chapter and keep finishing chapters until you get to another chapter that you missed a letter. Then do the same and find every one until the chapter is all white and completed.
@@blackmateria8687 The game doesn't have a chapter select, or anything like that. If you even miss just one, You'll have to replay the entire game from start to the point where you missed it to get the achievement. For me it happened to be the 3rd last, so I basically had to finish the game again.
Thanks. Very helpful. All others, notice that every stone doesn’t have the exact same rune but as long as you visit every stone in a chapter you will get all the runes. Good luck!
Thank you. Got immensely frustrated because I definitely picked every rune yet missed #38 and #39. Well, off I go to one more playthrough. At least now I know my way around.
man did i die often, before picking up the torch,... also on normal difficulty Hellblade feels kind of unfair, and i mean unfair on purpose, like they were runnign out of game design ideas.. a bit like the opposite of every other game, where there are more elements/levels/weapons/upgrade the further you progress. so the enemies can be stronger too.
Went through the whole game and ended missing just one, was pretty bummed out to play through again as great a game as this is just to get one missed lorestone 😭. Lucky for me though it was lorestone #6 😁. Thanks a ton for this guide!
Thanks for this guide. I know this was posted a while ago. But I wanted to let you know that it was much appreciated. Great game too, beautiful and emotional. A real insight to psychosis. I really feel for the people who suffer from this.
Thanks man! I bought the game yesterday on sale and I've platinumed it with your guide in one session. Once again, Thanks for the guide I really appreciate your work! Puuh... What a ride. Probably the best game I've ever played. Now I need to try get some sleep but I'm afraid I'll have some weired dreams. Anyways take care!
Well this is really something that drives me mad, especially because this game is just awesome in every other aspect...I mean I thought I'd finally found a game without all those freakin collectables, an 8-10h game that finally just wants to tell me a good story and doesn't need me to wander around an empty open world distracting me from the core event. I've always wanted to play a game where I just dont have to think about something important I could miss. And then this. Interessting pieces of lore attached to collectables you have to actively search for and sometimes backtrack the whole level, which I think slows down the pace terribly and constantly distracts the player from the mysteriousness of story. On top of that sometimes you can't even go back to retrieve missed ones later on, so you have to play it all the way again...terrible decision if you ask me.
I wouldn't mind this if there was an easy way to replay the sections you missed them. Now i'm replaying the game (with unskippable cutscenes) to search for simply 2 Runes that i missed...
What's the point of collectible trophies in the age of the internet. it's just a time grind. Trophies should be skill based, not wasting 10+ hours collecting shit based.
Personally in this case i think it's fair...bc it's not something meaningless like collecting feathers or whatever. Each Lorestone gives you more info about the Nordic mythology so that's nice. My issue with it is how the game doesn't even let you skip the intro...it really should have a level select after you beat or at least let us skip the "cutscenes".
@@ihatevoyager i say this to anyone who moans about achievements. Dont like them, dont do them. 10 hours for a achievement isnt bad. At all. They shouldnt all be skill based. The collectables in this game are lore based. You can do multiple playthroughs and pick up ones you miss. Try doing some achievements which take 50 hours to get. They are the grind.
Harry Woart Yeah there shouldn’t be only skill based achievements. This one is, in a way, skill based anyway. You need a keen eye and curious imagination to find all of them. I’m curious and I must have missed only 2 because I heard all of Druths stories.
Yes! Another Platinum thanks to Power Pyx! I'd only missed a few of the Lorestones on my first playthrough, but I don't think I would have found them all without this video.
This video is great! For those not finding the exact one youre looking for, you have to figure out which stone u missed. They go in order by the way you find them. So, if you find the 2nd stone first in an area, its going to be the 1st symbol of that area. Hopefully that helps anyone who gets lost!💪🏾 or mine just tripping😂
Mr power stand up and take a bow I just got all the trophies thanks to your guide I got an all except 1 so mission complete I thank you keep up the good work if these guides did not exist I think i would stop gaming thanks bro
This game is amazing n lately I haven’t been able I say that about any game ( except for red dead 2) . Games like this is what Made me into a gamer !!!!!
This maybe in a post but if you miss a lorestone the letter doesn't skip what you missed...for example I missed #6 in Chapter 1 which is M...when I got to end of Chapter realized I missed one walked back through chapter found #6 and it now was S...I will keep an eye on this and watch the video before each chapter. Thank you for the awesome videos!
Ahhh, its been about a year but I'm finally back for my second play through. I missed the final collectible and thus didn't get the plat. So happy to run through this amazing game.
You can get the lorestones by selecting chapters, yes, but you will have to check which chapter is missing using the circle. For example: for me, chapter 5 was missing 2, but to access the area it was necessary to enter chapter 7 to access the areas in chapter 5 from the video. Hugs from Brazil to you 👊🏻🇧🇷👐🏻
Alan Abdiel no if the the one you collect is the correct one you don’t have to as the plat will pop. but make sure you get all in the chapter of the one you missed bc it sometimes resets so the one you missed might be different.
just got the platinum awesome guide man , at my first playthrough i didn't look up any videos to the game to avoid any spoilers i collected 40 by my own but end up missing 4 of them it was a pain to do a second playthrough just for 4 Lorestones that i missed , but i did it and got the platinum a bit near the ending .
If you die, make sure you go back and get the ones before the death. I followed the guide and got all but missed 2 cause i died at a part in chapter 10 and i thought it saved.
Can anyone help me, in the video minute 10:14 it’s the only rune that’s missing for me, I already went there but nothing happens, the “R” won’t complete
I'm so fucking retarded in this game like, it's unbelievable. I get lost so easily and I'm trying to find a way to leave Valravan's boss area and I keep going in circles wtf! I've been trying to access chapter 3 for like an hour!
Wish I had known that the 19:32 disappears if you look at the door and there is no way to go back if you miss it. Really don't want to start all over again and there is zero incentive to play through a second time.
I like how you sped up the voices. It's cute and funny. The first time playing Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice I got most of the runes. I'm only missing 8 runes.
A bit of a late reply, but maybe useful to others coming here. The stones always tell the story in the right order, without skipping a part, regardless of what order you visit the stones in. What this means is that if a chapter has 5 stones (let's call them A, B, C, D, and E) and you miss stone B, then the rest of the stones will tell you parts B, C, and D, and you won't get the end of the story (part E). The runes on the stones change accordingly. The same thing happens if you do visit all stones, but in a different order than the video shows. The runes you get on particular stones won't match the video, but as long as you visit all stones you will complete the chapter. So the easiest way to use this video guide is to follow it all the way from start to finish, completing all chapters and stones in the exact same order.
@@MicraHakkinen Yeah I figured that much luckily I was only one stone short from Valravns section and didn't need a guide after that, but hopefully this helps some in the future.
@@hannsvii People are reading comments even after 3 Years? I respect that. Are you looking forward as well to part 2? I just finished the first game while beeing sick at home.
@@joachimgauckler8555 I guess so haha, to answer your question though I'm definitely looking forward to Senuas Saga. I think it's gonna blow this first game out of the water now that the studio has been picked up by Microsoft. Hope you feel better btw 👍
@@hannsvii Thanks ☺ And thanks for answering, somehow its cool writing with someone who wrote a comment years ago. Didnt knew that they got picked up by Microsoft, i see the second game beeing great as well. Have a wonderfull evening and cya around.🙋♂ Btw the actress of Senua has a YT channel that is worth checking out.
So glad I found this. Missed 2 from the balraven area and heard that if you advance too far you will miss them entirely. Luckily I managed to get them.
Same happened to me lol. Thankfully I hadn't moved on to Hela yet, so I was able to go back through the illusion trial area and get it. But I think mine was 6 instead of 7.
Yea, i missed 5 lorestones on my first playthrough and went back to chapter selection to get em only to find out I would have to re-complete the puzzles again. Yea, maybe another time.
Solving the puzzles in the video spoiled the fun for me, I wanted to know the place of the lorestone not how to get to it, but thank you for the video :)
For anyone still doing a run through, if you miss the rune at 9:03 you won't get it when coming back to the area for the "dungeon" bit. The pillar will be gone!!!
For anyone playing on PS4 the trophy popped for me once I collected the ones I missed in my initial playthrough. So you don't have to recollect all the runes just the ones you missed.
Ms Bz i finish the game and i lost 1 lorestone....i start a new game now...i must get all the lorestones again from the beginning????or should i only collect the stone that i missed only?
If you have problems with the lorestones, be aware that the symbols change places with other symbols, for example, a symbol (M) is in the place of (N) this is normal, just watch for the lorestone symbols and see which you forgot
ddGrandahl except the ruins are different for me than in the video. I missed one at the end on my second run. Fuck this game I'm not doing it another time.
BehelitOutlaw I know it's 5 months later but when trophy hunting, read the video description. He will usually tell you specifically what is and is not okay with collecting stuff because RNG is a factor that devs use to keep things from being the exact same everytime.
The concept is similar to The Order, just with more puzzles and swords instead of guns. It doesn't have a lot of combat encounters, more of a cinematic experience.
Not even CLOSE to the Order! First of all the Order was a crappy AAA game charging you FULL PRICE. And limited gameplay. This is a SMALL indie game, half the price, yet the small team was actually passionate about the project. BIG DIFFERENCE.
Nothing like Bloodborne. Far far more like The Order. The problem people had with The Order was that it constantly felt like you weren't doing much, and that it was too little for too much money. This game is half the price of a regular AAA and it keeps you busy quite regularly. Just imagine The Order, with none of the bullshit attached.
Both are great gaming experiences. Similar pacing. Can be very short if you just run A-B without taking the time to appreciate what has been made for you. Excellent graphics and audio. If you liked The Order than safe to say you are a mature gamer and will enjoy this also. If you want fast/frenetic/repetitive/no brainers with massive play times due to online modes. Stay clear and buy Shooty'Mc Shooty 1/2/3 etc.
Dude I just played through this game and I honestly don't know what tf you're saying. This game is amazing in literally every way imo; including price..and so few games have done that.
Do people ever just look around anymore?9 hours? I'm going on my 15th and I'm just on chapter 5. The beauty of theses games are the sounds and visuals. Slow down people!!!
So this person comes to a guide forum to tell us we shouldn't bother using it? We should look for them all on our own? Consider your audience. Wrong place. Wrong message. Even using the guide, a player can see and appreciate all this game offers. The guide is to confirm not missing a lorestone to prevent another replay.
Unbelievable Game first off, Second Thanks for an amazing guide. I mean if someone misses a lorestone following this guide than they are completely not following this guide 🤔
I gave up on this game. The biggest flaw is how you cannot restart from a checkpoint(because their are none) or skip the dialogue, because I had one lorestone to collect and it was smack bam in the middle of the game. I had no patience to restart the whole thing that I have up. I couldn’t even go back and retrace my steps😤😤
Thanks for the vid I finally found that damn elusive last lore stone, it's definitely my favourite game to platinum, such a hidden gem of a game especially with earphones on, quite an experience
