Hellboy has been my favorite hero since day one of watching the original movie, anti-hero is the best kind of hero to me! Someone needs to work on giving him a show that would bring the story of the Dark Horse comics to life
When I saw the first Hellboy years ago and Ron Perlman said that line I hate those comics that set for me this is not Ron Perlman, Ron Perlman is Hellboy and David Harbour for me couldn’t follow someone that did the role so well maybe if it was a different story and not a rehash of his origin

he’s not an anti-hero at all. He saves the world, has good morals, and is courageous/brave. He doesn’t even really curse. He’s a very straightforward hero
I think you don't quite know what the term means. He's a hero, period. Anti-hero requires dubious morality. Hellboy has a fairly great sense of morality.

There is no way that hellboy books alone kept dark horse afloat when they are also a huge publisher of manga. I was reading comics since the 90’s and never heard of hellboy till the first movie came out.
MY SUGGESTION IDEA ON HOW TO SAVE THE (HELL BOY) FRANCHISE: Now I suggest to make a two types of show series of (HELL BOY) & the reason why is this way it can make the writers think about many types of storylines. The first one is a (HELL BOY) cartoon show series, and the second is a live-action (HELL BOY) show series. And so I theorize that while their thinking about the many different types of storylines, for each show series of HELL-BOY, they might figure out a way to write a story script for a brand new type of (HELL BOY) movie. In addition I imagine the brand new type of (HELL BOY) movie, it could be connected to certain events in the live-action show series of (HELL BOY).
Geez the ending of the Hellboy universe in the comics feels more like the ending of Devil man, speaking of that there was an actual crossover manga of Hellboy/Devil man and perhaps hopefully you can search it up and review because I haven't read it before but so like to know about wouldn't you think🤔😉.

And if science and magic is in our dimension then somebody above our dimension is above the magic and science of our universe. So basically our magic an science dont matter to 5th dimensional beings.

I think Etrigan has the edge since he appears to have more skill in hand to hand combat. But I've only seen both of them from the animated shows and their movies so idk if comic book hellboy is more skilled
@@michaelsinclair1343 see that's sort of what i was thinking too, but i'd give hellboy the power advantage, i've seen him do things in his comics that are more impressive than stuff etrigan, but etrigan also has more magical powers so maybe that would bridge the power gap. all in all though i think it would be a fun evenlly matched battle.

After seeing this video of what he's done in his comics I think I'd give it to hellboy. If it's etrigan and hellboy from their TV versions I think etrigan has it but comics seems like hellboy.

AFAIK the vampire woman he meets in hell isn’t Nyharlethotep. No named Lovecraft deities appear in hellboy, just beings similar to them in the ogdru-hem. The vampire lady is hellboy’s ex wife from hellboy in Mexico

Not sure if “obscure” is the right term for Rasputin, I mean yeah, the Hellboy version is clearly historical fiction so maybe that version could be obscure, but Rasputin is pretty famous and therefore well known, don’t think obscure is the right word, maybe infamous.

Hellboy is powerful for sure, but Superman being powerless against magic is a very, very prominent misconception. The amount of magic based opponents he has faced is utterly absurd. You brought up Myx, but Superman have handily beaten the Imp before, despite his magic and other cosmic powers. Myx isn’t just magic, he’s literally a being of pure imagination, which is permeated across every realm in the entire DC Multiverse. Hellboy is powerful to be sure, but using Myx (a being who is far more powerful in every way than Hellboy) as a reason for Hellboy beating Superman is illogical. Idk why Superman was even mentioned tbh lol. This video was going perfectly smooth until the unwarranted, misinformed mention of the Man of Steel.
@@davidcarty7584 Oh so I was hallucinating when his essence straight up shattered Myx when he was trapped in the infinite tower in Rebirth. Hell, even if he didn’t beat Myx, it’s still irrelevant cuz Myx casually far exceeds anything Hellboy or his prophecy have accomplished. Making and destroying universes is child’s play to someone who has casually on made infinite realities and threatened to wipe out the entire DC Multiverse.

Magic is not a weakness for superman, it's a vulnerability. He's powered through magical attacks. Hellboy is nothing compared to mxy so that's a bad example and considering Superman has fought beings like Darkseid, hellboy wouldn't be that difficult for him.
Would Hellfire be considered magical? We've seen that Shazams lightning bolt hurts superman and that's just a magic based attack. So would Hellyboy be able to just consume Superman in Hellfire? At the very least, it would cause him to be stunned while in pain and hellboy could wail on him or just continue cranking up the heat. That's just if it's considered a magical attack, though.
I still haven't watched the new hellboy. Like legit I'm that loyal to the orginals that I boycotted the new hellboy completely. He will never be the true hellboy to me.
I’m going with Anunung Rama Hellboy over King Thor or Galactus. Herald King Thor is going to be a fight but neither of those is a start and end all life in a universe type being. The Phoenix force on the other hand is.
How would big red not beat Thor? Didn‘t hellboy kill Satan? Satan or otherwise Lucifer is basically the second strongest character in marvel. So thor shouldn‘t be an issue Or am I mixing something up?
The first two were great the third one is shit. Box office doesn’t always translate to if a movie is good or not that’s like going by what rotten tomatoes says.
What's inspiration? Humanity dead! I guess if you not looking at it from human perspective it could be good thing but as far as we concerned this is clearly a bad ending. Sorry, I guess I just felt betrayed with endings like this.
