Gorgeous ride! I just threw some nitto nt555 G2's on my scat pack, I love the aggressive look. Running 315/35/20 on the rears, had to cut a little plastic from the inner wheel well to avoid rubbing, but overall it was worth!
Just did the same on my scat loving the aggressive look i didnt want to cut into i was hesitant on rolling the fenders but decided to pull the trigger on it looks amazing alot of clearance no rubbing
My buddy has 325 45 18s on a 10 inch rim on a 12 super bee charger. His tire did touch until it wore threw the plastic, but only on the passenger side. Other side is real close. That car has run 12.48 at 111 mph, with a tune, headers bigger exhaust and cold air and 180 temp thermostat in 3500 foot DA here in Western Canada. First time he had it at the track bone stock on street tires the car ran a best of 12.82 at 109 mph.
Hi! It looks great! You can't tell me what springs you used (how many inches it is understated). What kind of disks are the standard ones from the manufacturer?
You probably figured it out but 20x11 +22 is the absolute perfect fit for narrow body challengers. You can run 305/35/20 with zero mods spacers or anything
How's the Wheel Spin? Still there huh? Great Ride! I'm searching for my 16 6spd... Not trying to go Drag Radial yet... Trying to go as wide as I can to hopefully suffice haha.. Somehow a Street Tire will Dead Hook rather than a Drag Radial.. Quite the wishful thinking huh :)
Hello, what is the widest tire I can put on my 2013 SRT8 Challenger 392, with factory 9.5” rims? The 245/45 on 20” rims is too small for the car. Why Dodge put 245/45’s on all 4’s is beyond me. But I definitely want to change to the widest tire I can put without changing the stock rims…front & back. Thanks in advance, for the input👍
@@gearedupkim9516 your welcome. I also hated the way the 245/45s looked on my 2011 rt with heritage wheels. And wanted big 315s. But I learned that the 275/40s are the best fit for a non widebody cars since the came from the factory like that for some reason and also because any 315/35s will stick out too much and I don’t recommend it, it will change the look of the car.
@@andershilbert8913 Awesome! Thank you So Much for that extra info…it goes a long way for me. I have always been about wider tires, (I love the look), although I would Not want to mess the car up in any way, or put WAY too wide on the stock rims. I want to keep the car as stock as possible. Thank you again! Mopar friend!
Cosmos on a hellcat is insane. I had them on my 2014 dodge charger SE charger super cheap tires. I wanna know how to reacted on here. I had 315/35/20 in the rear too. 😂
Why in the world would you put 315s on an SE? You would get better cornering, though 😂. It probably looked way better. I'll give you that. Once the car guys open their window and expect to hear a burble from a V8, they may think sleeper? 😂😂
How much rear negative camber do you have and have you done anything to address that, it doesn't look like much when you show the rear viewing but it is there.
What’s your front tire setup? I’m looking at getting eibach pro lowering spring but I’m not sure if the 295 40 20 will clear in front? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did u say you used spacers. If so, what size? I’m having the same issue with my 315’s. Rubbing where that little hump is at. Some guys are putting 3mm spacers on. I watched a guy bang that hump in with a sledge hammer. Made me sick to watch. Not doing that.
No spacers were used. Mine was really close to the plastic shield or inner fender well if you will. I used a heat gun to mold the plastic . I did cut the two tabs off at the end of the shield because it was very close to rubbing. You can't tell it's been modified at all. It is pretty close to the plastic but no rubbing so far. I have seen the spacers being used but I didn't want to go that route. Good luck with it!
Kristie Weston the drivers side the tire burned a Small hole into the liner where the hump is in the front inside area. There wasn’t much room there to press with the heat gun because of the metal on the inside of the liner. I have 11 inch rims 25mm offset. My finger can’t get between the tire and liner even after I used my heat gun. Going to take for a test drive shortly. I may try a 5mm spacer which is the max.
Beautiful Challenger! I just bought these same rims based off your video. I went to have them installed on my completely stock 2019 Challenger Hellcat yesterday and got scared at what I saw. We test fitted the rim only up in the air and this same FR77 22 offset wheel stuck out what looked like about 1.5”-2” outside of the wheel well. I said that’s not gonna work so we put the original wheel back on. Again, the tire was not mounted yet. I have a picture but I don’t see any way to post it here. It’s scary looking up in the air. Anyway my question is, does it look that “drastically different/better” after the tires are mounted and lowered back down to the ground? Thanks for your video and help! Chris
On my car it sits just inside the the lip of the fender with the tire installed. It does stick out about 1.5 inches where the body curves inward down toward the bottom of the quarter panel. If you want send me your email and I'll take a few pictures of mine if it will help.
@@jaystepp150 Ha! Sorry just saw this a couple years later now lol. This is an old email account but anyway, yes we installed them and they worked out perfectly! Without a load and up I’m the air it did stick but they come back in when dropped back down. Sorry so late lol
👂Listen up Challenger RT Scat Pack owners with stock 9inch wheels who are looking to upgrade your tires. Check out these, most bang for your buck tires. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cz0w8Sw9dZM.html m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ExtremeContact+DWS+06&sidewall=Blackwall&partnum=74YR0DWS06XL&tab=Sizes Here's a review link you'll find very informative. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cz0w8Sw9dZM.html One hell of a set(4) of 275/40ZR20 tires with a tread wear warranty of 50K miles and a UTQG number of 560 all for about $900. Over 1K positive reviews. Remember these are "all season" not like most performance tires that are "summer only". Big difference. ☝️Probably the best Ultra High Performance All Season tire available, hands down. Also the 245/40ZR20 are available for a smaller two front tire option. ($215) Now if you have the wider 11inch wheels, and for a better grip & bite on the "REAR" only, recommend two of these. m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ExtremeContact+DWS+06&sidewall=Blackwall&partnum=135YR0DWS06XL&tab=Sizes Again the most bang for your buck, "REAR" only. I have a 2018 challenger rt. I'm thinking about going staggered 20×9.5 in the front but not sure if I should go 20×10.5 or 20×11 in the rear. What's the best choice ?
I had a 2012 RT with 20x10.5 on the rear and they fit awesome. If you look my RU-vid channel you will see the car and the wheels. It's orange with a black hood.
Hey bud great information. 2 years later... How is the tire wear on those rear tires? Did you need to do any additional work like camber adjustments or everything is still looking good?
I have a 2023 Dodge Challenger 392 Sactpack, will your set up fit on my car, an what exactly is your set-up and what did I you do to make them fit,as far as to inside of thr wheel well. Send me an email at yeager650@gmail.com, please and thank you for your help.
I just picked up a new 2020 hellcat redeye widebody and this week it gets the same lowering kit you used I also have a set of 315 tires coming for it I have 305 all round now and I know my new 315 will fit but not sure on the front after I lower it? any idea?
@@kristieweston7867 Well pick her up few hours ago from Les Schwab Tire and they lowered it and stuffed my 315s tires on and I am happy to report NO rubbing at ALL front or back and NO spacers and she now looks low fat n mean...love it and thanks again for info
