As a diehard traditional GN guy, I wanted to come here and not like this. I do like it. I’d turn the exhaust down behind the tires and keep the stock GN hood on it, maybe with a custom “6.2 DI SUPERCHARGED” logo on the hood bulge. Either way, nice work so far.

It's truly not just trim. GN has alot of parts that go on that v6 turbo an the intercooler v6 turbo 86-87, these are nothing close to a regal specs, it is very pricey dealing with a GN, regals are cheap to deal with. But putting a Ls in a GN is disrespect.

I have an 87 GN with 52k original miles on it, once you remove the Turbo 6, its no longer a Grand National. But a person can do what they want to they're car, it's they're car ya know. I believe in keeping it True to its unique platform, it keeps more value that way also. To each his own tho.

What do you mean, the first you've seen? You've never seen a Regal GN before? If that's the case, then you still haven't, because this isn't a GN, not even close.. Go look it up and peep a fully stock / OG Grand National and then tell me this is the same thing 👍🏻
The Hell Cat motor is turning into a great power plant for swapping, I saw a C10 truck with Hell Cat power plant and it was awesome 👌 just as this Buick from Hell is.

I own an 87 GN (Still has the original V6 but not really a stock car) and a 2018 Jeep Trackhawk. I will admit that once I got the Trackhawk, the GN has been mostly in the garage. I still love her, but the TH is just so much fun to drive.
Bad ass. Love the way it sounds. Nothing like a hell cat. Sounds like an old 440 with 3 and a half inch exhaust. Honestly minus the wine it sounds like my 70 se charger. It's got a 383 but it has 3 1/2 inch exhaust and 3 1/2 inch flowmasters. That shit is going to be badass though when it's finished. I can totally see the vision.

@@bmacster1985 at 1500 i would warranty it my self or spend 4000k for a new. Ls motor hell at 1500 for a great used one compared to my Hemi at 5500 for one I would take it gladly an add two turbos if you tune iT right will last A lot longer
Why. If you want to motor swap look into keeping it Buick and go with a Buick 3800 series 2 or 3. Fastest new gen Buick v6 is mid 8's in the quarter at almost 160mph
