11:11 You were right in calling them Bile Spewers! The big green spitter bugs with armor are indeed Bile Spewers while the big orange unarmored spitter bugs are called Nursing Spewers.
This is so good. I literally pair this with the scorcher either gas grenades or thermites. 500 kg gas and the low tier turret. It's literally 77 seconds a pop on the turret. It is just so good
The Flakk is fantastic on the bot front. I love to use it on drop ships, unload into the bottom of the dropship and watch the kills roll in.... until something more well armoured gets tropped in.... Then just switch back to the APHE-T ;P
I definitely hope they add more flying enemies and really just more enemies in general. Definitely with how strong we have gotten the game is getting to easy imo. Hell we can kill hulks from the front with a pistol now...
I like using a very close range primary like the blitzer with the autocannon. The blitzer is pretty bad against fliers so the autocannon can cover that weakness, and makes sure I don't run through autocannon ammo too quickly. Soften up a group with flak if needed, then switch to armor piercing so it doesn't detonate close. Autocannon runs through ammo too fast to just use it constantly, and it's better at a little bit of range anyway.
Great video, as always, thank you. Personally, I don’t think it’s a case of Arrowhead “fixing” the proximity aspect of the Flak round detonating when it comes into range of an object, I think it’s up to the player to adapt to that aspect of the rounds design.
I do think the proximity fuse is something to work around rather than remove, as it IS a downside of the weapon type and an indication that you should switch ammo types on cluttered battlefields (something to make it more balanced).
Autocannon was always the "ol' reliable". Even with all the many nerfs of the past. Honestly didn't think they'd touch it in their 60 day plan after the last buff patch and it's armor reduction to nearly all enemies.
Will you be making a vid on the buffed senator? Maybe like the bushwhacker vid? I think the senator is more of a bot weapon but I am interested to see what kind of build you can cook up. Thanks for putting out so much great content bro.
@@FazeParticles when you classify a cannon there munitions needs to be 20 mm or above because 20 mm is considered to be cannon rounds while lower than that is consider heavy small arms like heavy machine guns or anti material rifles and small arms like the m4
I wasn’t too impressed with the Flak rounds - they’re solid on paper but I found they were prematurely detonating on dead bodies WAY too often for my liking 😭 If you have high ground they’re decent though
Considering you're using an AA mode I'd say it's really not a problem that it triggers on corpses. Changing it or the airburst would defeat the purpose, unless they just made it trigger on enemies; but I think this is one of the places "realism" enhances the design. It's supposed to be a proximity charge and there are other choices for AOE. You're basically talking about using it like a grenade launcher that can also kill heavies in one or two shots; it shouldn't be as good at any of it's jobs as a dedicated tool. The flak isn't as strong as the airburst, the AT isn't as strong as the recoiless, and the AOE chaff clearing isn't as strong as the grenade launcher. As it should be. You actually touched on the real weakness of the airburst launcher (and flak in general): there are no enemies worth taking it against. Heavy flyers, flights of gun ships, and swarms of shriekers and it suddenly becomes much more viable. Right now it's to easy to just down flyers with primaries to justify bringing dedicated AA. Speculation time; I wouldn't be surprised if the Illuminate have a lot of hovering/flying stuff. Cinematically it would make sense for them to show up on Liberty Day. Adding flak to a bunch of stuff makes me wonder if they are adding more flyers anywhere, maybe soon. Higher difficulties might also up the flyer counts dramatically.
the Flak Auto cannone is great, but im very confused about HE round in recoilless rifle. I have tried it vs multiple targets, chargers, schreckers' nests, titans, and impalers, and in every scenario AP rounds have better or quite similar (not worth to lost time to change mode) performance. I think it should one shot the nests, and maybe titans from bottom. I just feel like those buffs didn't impact RecoillessR that much... Or i just don't use it properly. thanks for videos, have a nice night
HE is better for groups of enemies. When you want to damage chargers, titans etc. just use HEAT Why would they add a different shell to use on the same targets.
AC simps are creaming their pants over this, but in reality, it's just a worse GL in every application against the Bugs... except against Shriekers where it's legit GOAT. They need to increase the explosive damage in order to make it worthwhile. Right now it takes 2 to 3 shots to kill warriors within about 3 meters.
"it's just a worse GL in every application against the Bugs." as it should be cause it's an ammo type (AN OPTION!!) you can change it ingame while GL you can't . IF AC "AMMO" is compair able to- you know THE ENTILE Stradigem ,You would Never pick GL EVER!!. Right now the AC is 'DO Everything but not Great' Stradigem which is good . IF the AC FLAK "AMMO" can perfrom even similar and compairable to GL the GL is done so cause the AC still have AP-HE-T Ammo type for Armor Unit while the GL don't have that option.
