Man that extract was cinematic as hell, Devastators and hulks endlessly emerging from the fog and 3 helldivers valiantly holding on, eagles soaring over head raining freedom and liberty all over those stupid bots. seriously no editing is needed to make this game look awesome
Man everytime I see a bot run with the spear I'm like "Man, I should try it out, it looks great" and then blink and end up with an AMR in my hands instead.
@@newspiked7385 I normally run both, it's definitely a little sketchy when you get swarmed but it's trained me to be a crack shot with both weapons, I can pretty reliably headshot devastators with the Diligence now and that helps save on the ammo economy for the AMR big time, let me tell you the first time I cleared a group of devastators with just the CS I felt ascended
It would be great if the Spear could lock onto the AA and Mortar Emplacements, but I guess that would trivialize those threats too much maybe. But also not really, considering the number of other support weapons that can deal with them easily from a distance like recoilless/eats or ac
So, I’ve always wondered this about SEAF artillery. Are you able to use it as a stratagem like an orbital strike or 500kg? Or is it just an extra objective to do?
Yeah, once you've finished it you get access to it as a stratagem, firing the shells in the order you loaded them. Best thing is that it's active even when the Destroyer is inaccessible, e.g. during Ion Storms or after the mission timer runs out.
Great game! Felt you on SEAF...hasn't been as generous lately. Not sure if you've done this already, but any chance of (re)visiting the lib pen? Been giving it another go after really liking Tenderizer, and although its recoil is slightly high for my liking by default, it's been...quite good actually. I'm pleasantly surprised by it.
I actually have a Lib Pen run vs bots in one of the 2 on the upload list - was perfect for my fashion, but honestly didn't have a very good time with it, I feel like the Tenderizer does everything I want it to better with its higher dmg and lower recoil, and the med pen really doesn't help with Devastator / Trooper headshots. Maybe I'd get more out of it vs bugs? Adjudicator seems like the better choice there too though... Anyway, I'll try and upload it tomorrow so you can see how it went!
@@newspiked7385 Sounds good, and agreed - while having that much ammo is nice, it's not necessary, and needing 4 headshots to take down a devastator is...a lot especially considering the recoil on the gun. Going to play around with it a bit more today, but probably going back to Tenderizer for the bots. Looking forward to the upload!
I really like the CS for bots, but find the scope isn't that accurate. Putting the center dot on the eyes, the round usually hits low. Maybe it's just me, but I find it hard to adjust for it.
I think it's only a little off-centre - if you compare it with scopes like the AMR, it's way better zeroed, even though the scope design looks the same. Definitely have to compensate aim on the AMR though
@@newspiked7385 I haven't brought the AMR out in a while precisely because the scope was so bad. Still trying to train myself to _not_ put the center of the scope on target for the CS :).
Hmm...from the most recent ship upgrades? Reload and the Orbital AOE buff are great for both races tbh. The Mortar targetting is great in theory but seems a little iffy in practice. BTW: love the username. Koscielny floors bitches....
