Space Marine 2 would have to release a ridiculous amount of content, the number of weapons and enemies already has a big disparity and the game is restricted to fixed map designs for operations

I swear after this update I’ve seen more bodies of enemies flying around from the bombs it’s hilarious. Dropped a 500 on a bug nest and after it exploded bodies were raining down well after the dust had settled

We need : - not getting stuck in geometry - not being locked out of controlling our hellpods - favoriting weapons, skins - being able to put passives on any armor once you unlock the passive - either full color customization OR at the very least being able to unify the helmet color with the chest piece (will help my color coordination OCD) All that and the game (for me) will be a 15/10

@henridenafel Some of the old weapons you might have enjoyed. Railgun got a buff and you can kill a bile titan in the face with a few unsafe-charged shots if you can aim good. Flamethrower can kill bile titans, but that's risky, most AT weapons can blow its face out in one shot, same with chargers too. Thermite grenade is basically the power of the sun in your hand and can basically one shot chargers from most angles. There's a lot of buffs, and it's so fun to blow out charger's sides and faces with different weapons now

trick to this mission, call in the nuke - run off, and when you come back... all the mobs are gone

Nah, nuke is a one trick pony. Call in a napalm barrage and the whole area will be cleared. The napalm barrage is much wider in area coverage and lasts for 21 seconds and has DOT so that pretty much kills off any remaining stragglers! It is THE BEST stratagem in the game atm.

This is the update that got me back, the game was frustrating and boring way to long, and basically they just went back vanilla on all weapons that they ruin from before. Hope they can stay fun now that they unfucked the game.

On arrival in Feb, knowing this was going to be a very special year for releases (and boy has it ever been), I still called this as GOTY. We’re on the cusp of October and that call remains true. I don’t remember the last time a game was so great that it CONSTANTLY gave you dynamically unfolding edge of your seat action and made final escape so rewarding.

Remember hell divers armors deflects bullets, use this to your advantage in your fight with armored targets. Might just have rounds end up in those buttery sides!

Loved this game before. Love it even more now! This is the way to go. Nerfs just make certain loadouts unusable. Buffing the shit out of everything just increases the variety and fun!

Been hitting Bug 10s and Bot 7s with the boys and it has been amazing since the buffupdate. I know some people like to hate on this game and the devs, but even with Space Marine 2 out, this game is a joy and so much fun to play with buddies. Still a solid 10/10 in my heart, too many amazing moments to experience to cry and whine about the missteps of the devs in balancing. "No matter how hard the Devs try, they cannot make this game not fun."

Hehe, looks like the bots and insects aren't the only ones getting new upgrades today! (before you correct, I am aware Arrowhead nerfed all the weapons but my headcanon is that either Command was losing resources or because the bugs and bots adapted to Helldiver weapons)

The sharp decline has stabilized, and has even started to slowly climb (and I do love the game don't get me wrong) but New World is the only game that I can remember that dropped off like this. From 458,000 peak to 47,000 in less than 6 months. That's shocking and such a squandered opportunity. There's no sugar coating it...

I added it in post as I often turn the music off in games as it gives me more freedom to add it back in the edit and still make cuts where necessary. This is a Starship Troopers remix of the theme 👍
