It definitely is one of those "Oooohhhhhhh!" moments once you realize it spawns in the ground units. I don't know yet if they are the same every time but I've seen that thing drop a group of around 6-8 devastators before!
When Factory Striders were just a rumor, I remember playing against Automatons and it was just business as usual until we walked up to the top of a hill to see beyond it was just this giant tower that took me a second to realize that it actually was on legs and that it was looking at us now and starting to come our way. I remember my team and I were throwing everything we had at it desperately trying to find it's weak points as all the call-ins we had that could do damage happened to be all on cooldown so we were stuck taking pot shots at it with our support weapons. It was like a damn boss fight that I can't believe that those things can actually go down faster than it took for me and my team the first time XD
They do have a way of making themselves look cinematic on their approach, the big majestic robot horses 😂 Man I still don’t know where the weak spots are on the Factory Striders, I normally just go for the top gun and then the two chin turrets and just hope it works itself out from there 😂😂
Oh, yours too? We also dropped in, right next to one...aaaand the second one, that was like 100 meters away, directly on the extraction-point. That was fun ^^
