IMO all they should do is remove the red dot on it altogether and give it an actual ironsight OR replace the front sight with the irons and place the red dot on the rear one
Railgun doesn't have the highest ap in the game, it has only 5 and devastator's shields are 5 so you can pen them, but it does damage to the arm that is holding the shield and devs can live without arms. The highest pen in the game goes to Spear sitting at 7 ap
You actually don't have to go into the eye of sauron you can call down the hell bomb outside close to the wall like around 4:40 and it'll blow up the objective
I've killed a few hulks with the senator, definitely more of a situational thing, but it's a life saver when you have nothing else on you and there's 1 or 2 hulks eternally chasing after you. The crosshair and sights is pretty crap though.
