Despite the claims of quality over quantity by AH for warbonds going forward, i feel like the only weapon worth it is the bushwacker. Once again we are back in the "only 1 weapon in the warbond is good" situation

They're working on the changes slowly, the update was good, I just wish they hired more guys to balance everything out quicker myself.

It's absolutely not underrated bro. It's exactly like described in the video. Just another mediocre assault rifle. I see no problems using it up until level 6 but there are just way better options for higher difficulties

The issue with auto rifles is that they are situational at best. They're okay for chaff, which is fine against a horde of scavengers or hunters, but as soon as warriors or spewers join the fray, you burn through ammo way way way too fast to make taking them over other weapons more viable. They need to up their damage across the board, almost all the way up to the diligence' level of damage, or they need to completely remove the "durable part damage" system entirely, really, having a giant glowing ass basically asking to get shot and dealing 10% damage to it because it's a "durable part" is asinine.

What ARs really need is an ammo buff! We need 10-20 more shots more per mag, and 1-2 more mags. ARs are bullet hoses in this game, we need enough ammo to use them properly!

Any Primary AR with low armour penetration should have 50~60 ammo and high damage.

They can’t buff the assault rifles to tenderizer damage bc then the tenderizer will be weakest, the tenderizer’s flavor is high damage with limited ammo and magazine size. I agree that assault rifles need to go up in damage, but not by that much or else they might become better than the other weapon types. The sickle is basically a energy AR and it has 10 less damage than even the base liberator but most ppl still like it. what the AR’s need is good dps and ability to kill multiple enemies before reloading.

than they should up tend dmg to 100 cause it doesnt feel op or anything, its a good AR, will I ever use it? no cause it has no med pen, and other weapons are much better in many ways, if u dont bump up the AR damage overall by A Lot they are gonna keep being el doo doo

dont you think we like sickle because we get a lot of firepower from it since we dont have to reload every 5 sec? Don't even mention how many shoots you can fire before overheating.

They should give the ar a drum mag with like 50 or maximum 60 rounds with a bit higher durable damage then it should be set tbh

Yeah. I think what it needs is more ammo. It has crazy rate of fire but not enough mag to support it.

Test the peak physique armor passive next cause i tried it and it makes the recoil feel differently worse with carbine liberator

The melee damage increase doesnt work either. Everything takes the same number of hits as without.

It doesn't effect recoil. It effects weapon handling.

I really how they buff the mag size of the carbine it chews through ammo so fast.i dont mind the recpil and damage it just needs more bullets per mag

I like the carbine design-wise and the theoretical role as a fast fire bullet machine. I say give it more mags (atleast 10 in tota), bump up it's firerate to 1000 and maybe increase the mag size a little bit. Boom, perfect cqc spray and pray AR.

New liberator is ok. It's only need bigger mag size and it will be realy good for hords clearing.

This is the problem with so many guns, I know it’s obvious, but how do they really change each one so it feels different but also good/effective to use ? In any game you always have the go to loadout. They could do it so that depending on your primary loadout it could pair with any secondary that compliments it, and if you have these “2” it could give bonus damage, reload speed or other buffs to your helldiver.

I would not mind the low dmg if it had more ammo. Give it a total of 10+ mags instead of 7 and at least it would be decent. Otherwise, it's pretty much just a reskin of the basic liberator

Is the 405 damage of the pistol shotgun dispatched between the 3 round or its each round of the barrel?

Each round. Its basically a punisher with 3 shots. Higher spread though. Close range only.

The new liberator is supposed to be like the XM177 used by special forces in Vietnam, same cartridge in a smaller package with I believe higher RPM, but barrel length doesn’t matter in this game so it’s kinda meh

Where is the stalwart/crossbow build? 😉 Stalwart primary, crossbow for bugholes and sometimes bigger enemies. Great combo.

I love that new shotgun and i will rock that bad boy a lot. But sadly it is better primary imo than actual primary wepon in this warbond. I mean you are not killing much while constantly running out of bullets

Sure, this new AR takes more shots but it has 50% more fire rate than tenderiser. So that means more bullets in a shorter time. This way it can actually be better than tenderiser especially if you miss your shots too frequently.

It's a vicious circle, if you bring the other AR's upto 90 damage to match that of the tenderizer ... then why have different AR's ? They need to start messing with the fire rates and magazine sizes. Maybe have a 45 damage ER with twice the fire rate and double the magazine so you get the same DPS but in a different "flavor"

@@Crazymrpipz Well, lets do a hypothetical here for easy math. If you have an AR that shoots once every second and does 100 damage with a magazine size of 30 that AR does the exact same damage as an AR that does 50 damage but shoots 2 times in a second with a magazine size of 60. The DPS is going to be exactly the same, they'll empty their magazine at the exact same time but they are going to "feel" different. You can juggle around with the numbers fire rates and magazine sizes to create choices. THEN you can throw in the armor penetration in the formula to create even more choices.

Carbines are weaker than full length rifles, but have better handling. The sound is from extra powder being burnt outside the barrel. Irl, it would be weaker than the base gun.

Is weird for me how some youtubers are reviewing HD2 guns. Seems the only thing matters is the damage. The AR need to kill everything with few shots with medium pen and huge magazine size and numbers. If only matters is it, the gameplay will be very flat with all guns feeling the same. Will be VERY hard to Arrowhead to make new guns where only matters damage and armor pen. Magazine, fire rate and magazine numbers need to take account too.

okay question than, will u ever use the Ar that has 60 damage after using tend with 95? u most likely wont, the damage and pen are very important

@@Crazymrpipz Sure yes, Pipz. People who like to shot more, spray. Guns with more bullets, more magazine can deal better with low health bugs for sure. Is more forgivable. You can't compare number of shots like you are doing. The right metric is TTK IMO, cos this way fire rate matters a lot also. Liberator Carbine is better to deal with the low health bugs and have a little stagger too, which is good.

it’s just a liberator with faster fire rate better so much better for swarm clear against bugs and not bad for getting hunters off of you only really useable if you mostly rely on a support weapon like the flamethrower and just use it to keep hunters off u nothing crazy but at least it’s unique

Also they should add incendiary effect to concussive AR, then those 2 ARs will really differ from standard and make sense to play even on higher difficulty

Its amazing tbh, can kill titan if back is cracked, chargers when shooting underneath and hitting the butt, great CC on clumped up mobs and 2shot all medium ennemies. With the latest patch and the absurd amount of patrol and whatnot its my go to with the incendiary shotty and laser guard dog, not much build variety but at least im not getting overwhelmed every encounter. The gun can literally deal with anything on bug side compare to the rest that are specialize for 1 type and sometimes not even that good at it. Oh and you can just dump a mag on a patrol or on breaches and it works perfectly, got a 80 kill streak earlier with a gas strike and using that build

Primary AR autos suck...it's like bang bang bang click reload...they need to boost the ammo for these guns. I HATE using autos as sniper rifles.

Totally agree crouch and put it on single it is amazing. You can take out striders at the joint. And in a pinch will take out a gunship.
