Helldivers 2 Stress Testing NEW BR-14 Adjudicator Weapon is BAD 

Tried it out a minute ago. It's like AR damage, autocannon handling, and marksman rifle ammo capacity. It's like they combined all the negative parts of other types of guns. You can hardly aim on the move at all, it takes several shots to kill basic troops, the recoil makes the full auto useless unless you're at point-blank range. It needs some serious help.

Damage between 90-100, mag size 30, 8 spare mags, lower recoil around 35-40 would actually sustain. The stats right now doesn't sustain much.

Its like Arrowhead is convinced if they make a DMR that feels good to use it'll be OP so they either make them weak, give them massive muzzle sway, and/or no ammo.

Ironically it’s better when’s it in semi auto, it deals with devastators well but definitely struggles when there’s more than 2 of them, I think it just needs a recoil deduction and 8 mags and it’ll be pretty good

..honestly the whole marksman category kinda is meh as a whole. At least to me. The chicken walkers are heavy armor at the top btw. Med is for the legs. I do love the new bolt action explosive sniper rifle though :D

To say that this gun needs a buff is a gigantic understatement, and to anyone saying that this gun is misunderstood and it's better than people are saying, you're ridiculous lol. This gun is hot garbage as it sits right now, and it's the first weapon I've said that about since launch. There are almost no redeeming qualities in my opinion, and needs much more changes than simple damage increase.

So the BR-14 seems to be a close to medium range weapon, otherwise it can't take down normal mobs without a head hit. For close in, it does function fairly well. However like all BR/AR in the game, it does not have enough ammo per mag to be really effective in typical non-stealth combat.

The BR-14 Adjudicator is such a massive disappointment of a weapon. This was the gun I was really looking forward to, because it was a marksman rifle with the capabilities of an assault rifle. Good handling, full auto, medium penetration and precise accuracy and recoil. However, the pros are so miniscule that you only see cons. What i would love to see to make this gun better, is better damage close or slighlty under than the R-36 family. The accuracy improved and the fire rate slowered to mitigate the recoil. This gun should've been good. Because it would counter the R-63 Eruptor so you actually have variety. The crossbow and the R-63 have similar qualities so the Adjudicator would've been perfect to balance it, but no. That is deeply unfortunate. I want this gun to be good.

None of these weapons are realistic. It seems the developers are trying to frustrate the player by having hyper negatives, no positive/s, or a good positive. There are too many wrong answers, not enough rights answers. This leads to burnout, not longer game play. Bad choices from the developers, bad weapons (in terms of usefulness), good weapon ideas, good game design. But those negatives are really bad. It'll lead to burnout.

It's definitely not perfect, but I really enjoy the Adjudicator. It's a lot of fun to use. It's a terrible marksman but a really fun assault rifle option. I do agree it should definitely shoot through the striders, and definitely do more damage on center of mass shots. It's more forgiving on missed shots against devastator heads than the other DMRs

This was the gun I was most excited to use and I could not have been more disappointed. It does terrible damage for its magazine size, and the fact you only get 6 mags is ridiculous. This weapon is so aggressively trash I wanted my medals back

Switch it to full auto (which it can do) and it becomes the best AR statistically. It hits harder then the Liberator Penetrator, does more damage then Liberator, and has faster reload then both even on empty. Its actually my favorite primary rn.

Scout striders have heavy armor on the top, Autocannon doesn't penetrate it, the explosion kills the driver through explosive damage.

What rifle has HORIZONTAL RECOIL???? What backally Craigslist post did they hire their team from? The balancing crew needs to be blacklisted from shooters

in my opinion this weapon should not have been an marksman rifle, i think as SMG variant it would be way cooler

BR-14 Adjudicator is a battlerifle not a marksman rifle.

The striders top part is heavy armor but bellow that where the legs connect to as well as the legs themselves are medium armor ( I know some other people already said the legs are medium but just wanted to say that there was another spot )

The developers that make weapons need serious help, I feel they don’t really know how to make weapons good, not all but the majority

Weapon is poo. Was the one I was looking forward to most and it is poo. So bummed.

doesnt make sense how the eruptor can have 12 magazines and this smaller weapon has 6

new guns are terrible honestly save your slips for the next warbond if your grinding for it

Idea for how to balance it, move it to the Assault Rifle section, increase mag size, lower damage by 15 and give it and give it lower recoil as well as an extra mag or two. Because it honestly just feels like a suggestion to enemies rather than a weapon
