I've noticed what she says isn't always relevant lol. My ship is maxed out and she still occasionally says we're not running at "peak efficiency" or whatever until more upgrades are purchased. Like bitch I would if I could lol
Got to say, my favorite scene was you running from the factory strider miniguns and diving beside a stuck hellbomb. I think it my luck would have turned out differently at that juncture.
My automaton stealth speed record is 13:47 left to spare with all objectives completed and no deaths. Eagle airstrike for fabricators and any unwanted attention, 120 and 380 barrage so you can “objective hop” and of course the auto cannon. You’re the best helldiver I know and I know you can easily top my record but I would love to see it. Challenge accepted???
around 13:00 the reason why I personally prefer the AC when playing alone is that, IMO, it's easier to handle gunship with it versus the AMR It's not too bad when there is only 1-2, but when there's 4 gunships aiming at you... 2 shots from the AC versus the 4-5(?) shots you need from the AMR is an easy choice
When leaving an area and you know the next bot is going to call for reinforcement you should let an enemy see you and call a bot drop as you run away so the timer starts with a drop behind you instead of leaving them with the ability to spawn ahead of you. You should easily be able to get out of range before the drop ship arrives and the extra enemies spot you.
I was amazed by how well the Spear was working for you in the other video, but now we see the typical performance :D Also, they reduced hulk flame damage by 20% but it makes basically no difference - I'm sure it's doing its full damage every frame instead of being a DoT effect or something because it kills you instantly.
My only problem with quick solo run vids is that the strat of nuking a place and running away only works when you'Re not trying to get samples as well. Having to loot the bases wastes a ton of time, forces fights, and makes the mission entirely different.
I swear I saw your channel play Remnant II last year, and I was right, I thought I was seeing stuff, wish you continue Remnant II content tho, Helldivers 2 is good too tho.
Hey Takibo, an idea for an interesting and funny load out video would be: No Hud, Only Sentry Stratgems, Laser Weapons. I would certainly enjoy seeing that potentially in a full campaign! Would probably only work against bugs but you never know..
I feel like, if we interrupt a bot drop/bug breach. We should get 30 seconds of free time before the next attempt from the enemy. Currently, it feels a little bit bad interrupting one just for the next available bot/bug to call it in anyways. Just my opinion.
Still only level 10, and I feel like I almost have to get the support unlocks before tackling higher difficulties, even the walkers need a grenade or high ground to get, but the anti material rifle just shreds them
Have you tried running the AutoCannon instead? It will allow for an extra stragem but you'll lose the shield. I usually take a barrage and run the same loadout with AC and Gas instead of AirStrike since AC is good for fabricators.
Good video! But like u already said, " I like to kill shit" so after a certain level like 60 or even sooner (my lvl is 92) u don't play for object anymore rly and the good weapon variety is weak/less 😢 I hope they gonna fix some weapons cuz I'm already bored kinda
Can someone please clip the view seconds after 1:05 and make a meme out of it😅 "... that's a Drop ship full of little guys, good for us... *Hulk drops in*
Really good utility with the scorcher. Kills striders and heavy devastators very reliably where the Dominator requires a skill shot to damage both those enemies. The scorcher also damages heat vents really well, requiring only half mag to kill a Hulk and one mag to take out tanks/towers. Awesome value to get out of a primary. Dominator is great and all, but I find it less reliable overall.
9:00 it's better when you know the bots have reinforcements off cooldown to intentionally let them call one in away from your objective, then ghost them and go do what you were going to do. That way you avoid the situation you landed in where the entire bot army is dropping down on the exact spot you'd like to be. You can easily avoid basically all protracted fights that way and have them chasing your shadow across the map. I believe Eravin has even done full pacifist clears before! Sentries are also amazing for when you need to hold a point and want the heat off you. Toss it far away and you buy yourself a lot of time with no patrols. If you're playing this way the shield backpack is redundant and you're better off with the jump pack IMO.
tbh shield pack against bots doesn't seem that useful in general for me bots don't have any slows that the shield is usually good against and the larger hitbox causes like 1/2 of the damage that's prevented by it would have missed w/o the shield anyways the jump packs mobility and handiness for getting in and out of elevated outposts (nearly all larger outposts) in addition to still giving you protection while jumping makes it much better imo
its a helluva lot easier and more precise aiming with a mouse, I keep leaving comments asking for a vid with the dualsense lol. slower to aim but he'll still get it done.
@@johhnythebat Oh, I play with a mouse and I have been trying to tweak the settings... .but I can't get near this at all. I am just glad that he mucks up a few times and misses shots too.
@@MrKilliak I just want to see him play with a controller. I play with a dualsense edge on pc, but when I switch to mouse and keyboard I feel much more accurate, just haven’t played m&k long enough to remember all the keys. 🤪
Great stuff as always, that dodge definitely was pretty cool :) I more and more enjoy the punisher plasma in a build such as this, group stagger can be tremendously useful! Shooting it up into the roof of pillboxes at bot bases, killing all the stuff inside is very satisfying also
Does the Spear even lock on to the Fabricators themselves? It seems that it locks on to bots that are inside, just about to go out, or if they are right at the door.
This has been my loadout basically since the game came out, only swapping out AMR depending on what im fighting or what isnt nerfed into the ground. Going prone against bots is OP
When you use the spear try and shoot from higher ground. The targeting freaks out shooting up/higher elevations. Even standing on top of a rock can help. It's really kind of dumb.
Yes, that is my loadout except I bring orbital laser and 500kg or airstrike. You can never go wrong with the stealthy tactics esp if your enemy is AI/Shooters.
cool that you can do it but I think both exp/resources and planetary control wise, it's best to fully do missions with all side objectives and as much time and reinforcements as possible, at least from what I've read. Is there any benefit to only prioritizing speed or is it just for fun?
Mainlining the objectives and ignoring outposts can earn you faster XP + requisition per hour as a solo, since outposts and certain side objectives reward very little of each for the time they take to complete. By avoiding engagements and saving your reinforcements for the end, you'll be more likely to successfully extract with any samples you've picked up.
29:55 The only other weapons that could have done that are the Autocannon and maybe the HMG. Nothing else has the penetration and rate of fire to pull that off. Anything else would either not penetrate, or take wayyy too long.
You're way too impatient with the Spear lock-on. We all know it's atrociously bugged atm, which means that as long as they don't fix it, it requires many seconds to find a lock and acquire the right target. You seem to know it, yet you stay on target for half a second and run away complaining... No wonder you could never acquire anything, even if you (eventually) would have ^^ 😉 Also, the Spear works best at range. Trying to shoot at anything closer than 100m is even more painful than usual...
The infiltrator has higher armor (70 instead of 50) but its lower in stamina wheras the trailblazer and the frozen one have 50 armor but the highest speed and stamina regen, hope it helps
I've been debating the value of the shield backpack for awhile now. I feel like it absorbs a ton of lasers that were never going to hit me anyways, since it greatly increases the hit box, leaving me in the same position as if I didn't have the backpack. Often it seems by the time a laser would hit accurately, the lasers that weren't going to hit have already absorbed all the shield HP. I still think it saves HP and stims in the long-run, but I don't think it's nearly as efficient as it appears.
I learned today that it's possible to run circles around most bots without them ever hitting you. Kinda scary to have that sawblade and flame thrower a meter away from you, but it works. They turn quite slow so you can pump liberty into their backs.
