Wow! What a gift. I love this guy. His final message given at 1:51:33 is a stack of books with his boots and hat - I’m reading that as a farewell salute from someone who loved to study and wanted to understand astrology (the books) while also having served in and having loved the military. A beautiful testament to his life and what was important to him. ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ MY QUESTION IS THIS: Which books are those? Can anyone read the spines? My intuition tells me he’s leaving us with a reading assignment and I most certainly want to honor that assignment. What a class act - such a brilliant end to the lesson (the stack of books, boots, and hat), especially since he left them for us knowing his transition from this world was fast approaching. I believe he was deliberate in creating that monument.

I don't know what took me so long to watch this, but OMG I can't begin to express how much I enjoyed it. I was smiling through the whole thing. What a gem! Thank you for preserving this for those who never got to know him.

Very interesting. From the perspective of another Capricorn sun with Mercury in Capricorn, I do like his grit and completely understand that communication is not always smooth or flawless for us. We just want to get the word out there with as few words as possible and we do have sharp tongues to send them. It’s also funny to me that I’m not the only Capricorn whom values time, ancient knowledge and wants to use it in a practical “no frills” way. Also his sarcasm and dry wit with the intro. May he Rest In Peace knowing that he sowed the seeds of the astrological renaissance.

I can't believe you almost decided to deprive us of this gem. He certainly is gruff "unicorn semen" lmao but this is exactly the kind of person that appeals to those other gruff saturnian types who have an open mind towards this stuff but zero patience for psychology. I loved this, and I enjoyed his Capricorn personality. This is a perfect example of how we’ve entered the age of Aquarius’ futuristic expansive and spiritual paradigm (what he’d call “Fairy Whacko hyphenated astrology” after the no-nonsense, military-ish age of Capricorn.) loved it! 🥰

What a delightful, eccentric, intelligent colourful amusing man. He reminds me of my Dad who was very Arm orientated from WWII.

I'm floored by how he takes down the significations attributed to the outer planets based on the lords of the signs they were discovered in. Also, his take on Pluto's meaning of amplifying or reducing stuff - hearing this was eerie at the tail end of 2020 for reasons I don't need to state.

Chris, thank you for putting this up. It gave me very good insights into an interpretation technique that has explained my experience of my birth chart much more clearly. I didn't mind Alan's presentation style - it ensured I've listened to this now a third time in a few days. It's a treasure. As for Covid-19, you've probably had lots of advice by now, but I'm going to add to that. Sorry. If you haven't already up your intake of Anti-Inflammatory foods, antioxidants, and Zinc. Especially look at your intake of vitamin D and C. These will in time repair the damage done by infection, and reduce your risk of getting other respiratory infections. A side effect of viral infections can be low mood and tiredness. This can last a while once the infection is gone. Both the vitamin D and fatty fish will address that too. Thanks again for your work.

I feel for you having had the COVID-19, Chris, but so happy you survived it and I hope that you have made a full recovery by now. That must have been scary, to say the least. Ironically, I had to go to the ER this morning for a bad rotator cuff that kept me up at night with severe pain for the past 4 days, and then my asthma and post-nasal drip flared up and the combo is what sent me to the ER for relief. After returning home and a long, much-needed nap, I went on RU-vid and this video was front and center on my homepage. I have been studying Hellenistic Astrology and reading your book as well as Demetra George's book for the past year while enrolled in my very first astrology course with Acuyta Bhava Dasa (Adam). His course brought me to you and needless to say, Hellenistic Astrology has not only blown my mind but changed my whole outlook on life and brought me close to God and the Universe. After a serious "dark night of the soul" in 2017 (before and after the Great American Solar Eclipse) I prayed my heart out to God to show me how to live again because at that point I found it meaningless. "Seek and Ye Shall Find" came immediately into my thoughts after that prayer. So, I began my quest of seeking the truth of life and reality which led me to here today through Hellenistic Astrology. Today, I too, and once again, thought about my mortality while sitting in the ER. (It's pretty much upfront and center when you feel like you can't breathe) I don't think it was a coincidence that this video showed up on my homepage because God and the Universe knew I needed to see it today and I am so glad I did (well halfway through I stopped it at mitigations because I am still learning and those concepts are new to me but I have saved the video to finish later at the appropriate time) All I can say is a sincere "Thank YOU, Chris" for sharing this video with us. Alan White is absolutely adorable in my eyes and this is the first time I have ever seen him, however, I just learned of him while watching your video on Secondary Progressions with Kellie Surtees yesterday! (Another great video btw). Alan was the medicine I needed today and I don't think I need to explain the reason why to you. You get it. He is the epitome of a skeptic who becomes the convert. Wow, just more amazing stuff that the Universe continues to point me in the direction of and it never ceases to amaze me. After having gone from a suicide attempt in 2017 to complete awe and wonder of the Universe and a sheer will to live now in this moment and time of the COVID-19, I struggle to make sense of it all still, but I see a beautiful symphony and dance of the Universe playing out before my very eyes and when I watched Alan today for the first time, he gave me courage and more strength to get through this difficult time of health issues and I know I am going to be okay, too. I know this is long and don't know if you will get to read it, but I felt compelled to share it with you because I am so moved by Alan and his whole personality and knowledge of Hellenistic Astrology. Another "gem" in my "seeking". You are a gem in my seeking as well, Chris. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You must miss him very much. Love, Peace, and always, the Light. Alan White has a very interesting Vedic chart. Mars in Aries (both tropically and sidereally) has the highest score in his Shadbala (six sources of strength, similar to essential and accidental dignities and very complex in itself) and is vargottama (in the same sign) in his D-1 and D-9 varga (divisional) charts. In his whole-sign Rashi (D-1) chart, he has Mars with Saturn in the 2nd house (voice, values). ALL D-10 STUFF Using KP ayanamsha, he had to be born before 11.37.11 AM to have Aquarius rising in his D-10 career chart. Aquarius rising in D-10 makes sense because that puts chart ruler Saturn in his 12th house with Mercury and Jupiter (good astrology planets) looking at it from the 6th house (of daily work). Saturn in the D-10 aspects not only the 6th house but also the 2nd house and Rahu (North Node) in Purva Phalguni (a Venus-ruled nakshatra) and the Venus-ruled 9th house in Libra. Venus itself is in the 4th house with essential dignity (to borrow a phrase from traditional Western astrology) in Taurus. His D-10 Mars rules the 10th house in Scorpio and is placed in the Aries 3rd house, where it aspects the Cancer 6th house and the planets in it, Mercury and Jupiter (exalted in Cancer in his D-10 chart). Mars also aspects the 9th and 10th house (its own sign) in the D-10. If we move his birth time up to 11.37.11 AM, he has D-30 Ascendant at 29.59 Virgo and D-60 Ascendant at 29.57 Aquarius, so the birth time of before 11.37.11 AM is correct. Libra rises in his D-9 chart with Venus in Leo in the 11th house, so in spite of his straight-shooting style of talking, he knew how to turn on the charm when he had to.
