I love the idea that in this game the Boss is just the guy wearing the armor

i do like that they just made the boss a armoured hussar.. one of the last peoples to be comprehensively armoured in the 17th century (other than swedish and german reiter cavalry) think about it in most of life as a duellist (i.e normal gameplay) every cut, every stab is almost lethally incapacitating, heads, arms and legs are severed or deeply scored. you know that all you need is one half decent hit to lend the fight... then. you find a person where every almost swing, every practiced stab... just bounces off. and their sabre is just as keen as yours, you know that every stroke of THEIR sword will kill you just as well as any duellists but you cant hit them BACK the same way.. there are some gaps... but theres maybe 5 places your sword can kill like it normally does... the boots dont seem armoured but thats bad for range... the groin and inner thighs? maybe..but thats a steep angle to land the inside of the arm and armpit? i mean.... if i REALLY get lucky i could curl my sabres back edge around...... the hands and elbow? sure theres a gap but gotta be so incredably precise.. of course i could try the neck and throat.. same with the face but yknow whats worse.. what makes this sort of foe even scarier? the hussar KNOWS where his gaps are.. and he is ready for them.

I was wondering what happens when you play arcade as Samuel and the result kind of shocked me and made me both disgusted and proud. Spoilers below: Basically Samuel gets shot by Jacek just before the boss fight. The first thing he sees after death is his evil side in hussar armor, which he has to fight. This much lore just to cover this is instance. Nice job on dev's part.

I absolutely loved this boss fight. Not only was it realistic in every sense (as someone who swordfought guys in armour without wearing one, I can confirm: it's every bit as unpredictable and nerve-racking), it also gave off the Shinnok from Mortal Kombat X feel. When he raises from the smouldering debrees of the falling mansion and growls at you, I sort of expected ot hear: "Final Round. Fight!". Great job on that one.

Amazing soundtrack! This has managed to top my already favorite one - Father Zera theme or the Church figting arena one. Simply amazing. More of this, please!

The music and the fiery stage are really selling this gut as evil and dangerous. Great work!
