Mondonedo has an interesting history. It was the centre of the diocesis of britonia, a christian diocesis founded by a group of britons who left the british isles for spain in the 6th century after the collapse of the western roman empire and the germanic invasions

Haha, my preferred dishes might just be croissants and coffee!! Others manage to eat much better than I do on the Camino, but maybe a video of some of my favorite things to eat and drink could be fun.
Yes, this was in the middle of July! Many people think of Spain as very hot, but on the Norte- which is the very, very north of Spain- the temperatures can be cooler in the summer (and certainly in other parts of the north of the country as well... mountains, Galicia, etc). Summer can be a great time to walk!
