The first concern was kinda sad, I feel more sorry for the mother than the kids. She must have been in a lot pressure after marriage plus all that work! I hope she stops working and she deserves all the luxuries in her life from her children ☺

Ugh I cried like a baby during the first concern. The host guy was right, every day after your parent is gone is so difficult, it's important for there to be enough good memories to help the pain. You never get over it, it doesn't heal, death isn't like the movies. So cherish your parents and loved ones while they are still here...make memories, eventually they will be all you have left.

Dear KBS, how to be the audience in hello counselor? I'm loving this show so much, and when i'm in seoul this august, i wish i could watch the show live. :(

That first concern really got to me. My mom also thinks she needs to work a lot, but she is actually in a situation where she kinda needs to. My mom is not that extreme but... she is always very stressed and yells at me a lot. And poor Wooshin among all the adults.. And Jinwoon being a complete smartass in the second concern.

The mother is a true fighter! That's a superhero in my book! The third concern guy, i just feel sorry for him, he was surrounded by shitty people! My twin friends were 1.48 in middle school and are around 1.55 now and besides us friends, no one ever made fun of them and if someone tried any funny business with them they would stand up for themselves and we wouldn't have any of it either, we would always have their backs! Hearing he got dragged to a bathroom to be beat up, where the hell were his friends? And he is still made fun of because of his height? what happened to mutual respect and boundaries? Jeez!

First concern made me cry. Our mothers are the one who gave us life and we want them to enjoy their life. Seeing your mom not take care of herself despite an ailing body hurts. I hope that mother takes a well deserved break and spends more time with her children and grandchildren ^

This show needs experts according to the concerns in an episode. For example, the second concern, they need doctor's opinion whether taking all those medicines at once is good or not, whether there will be side effects, and about whether it is good or not to exercise a lot. Psychologist also needed at some concerns. This is entertainment show but seriously this show needs experts' opinions according to each concerns.

The second concern made me very concerned for the dad. Like I understand he wants to stay fit, but the bees AND the acupuncture?! In my opinion, that's a little accessive. The grandmother said the boy was born prematurely, and mother had a tumor, but did the dad care? No, he would rather play golf than worry about his family. These type of people really work me up. Oh well, I'm done with my rant. XD

Why was wooshin invited if he was never going to speak? I'm not saying this like ew no I hate him but in actual confusion. He was just sorta there and that's sad to me. I was worried that JinWoon wouldn't say anything either especially since I love Jinwoon but he spoke which made me happy. I don't even know Woo Shin or his group and I'm annoyed that he was either uncomfortable/ scared or cut out. The whole time I was watching he looked confused and that made me sad

Although I don't struggle with a height issue like the guy in the 3rd concern, all other aspects of his story really hit close to home with me in a way. Wanting positive attention to be appreciated for the kindness of the heart but always getting negative response instead whether it is due to jealously or just to be an annoyance. I really hope he finds success and doesn't let anyone put him down for being short any longer following this episode, he does seem like he is a really good person.

I SAW WOOSHIN, I CLICKED, I WATCHED, tho he didn't have much screen time, I ENJOYED. Every guests had interesting stories

I cried so hard when the daughter talked about not being able to get pregnant. Watching this show makes me realize that I really hope I'll have daughters. I really wish the first concern would have won. It would have been nice to have her win several times and have the money. After the life she has lived she deserves it.

The guest in the pink dress made me want to mute my volume so I wouldn't have to hear her, sure what she said was actually contributing to the concerns (unlike most guests who say nothing) but her voice. Ughh. It's kinda annoying.

i think with the first one the mother was working so she didn't feel somewhat useless. Put it this way, all her children are married and it doesn't seem like her husband's around anymore (wether he died or left i dont know). I feel like she works so she doesn't feel so alone and that breaks my heart

On the last story. The senior at the theater company that makes him get coffee , does it to look like a boss in front of juniors. Reality is he's a beta male.

Literally my family, my dad and his brother had 4 sisters so one of them had to produce a male to pass down the family name. My dad has six girls (including me) and my uncle had 5 girls before he finally had a boy. So their is eleven girls just for one boy.

I understand the mother in the first concern. All her life she had expectations to earn money and have that all important son. And now that she doesn't have to worry about her In laws or husband to put expectations on her she now has to fight her children. Her children are thinking the best for her, but I think they have to get creative. Visit her in the market. Help her sell the fruit by working the stand while another sibling takes her to lunch with a few of the grandkids. They need to care for their mother on her terms. It's wrong to push a senior out of their livelihood and take control of their lives away from them when they still have to ability to reason for themselves.

The first concern was an eye-opener, since this woman's case greatly reminded me of my grandmother, who is also the eldest daughter, and I understood my grandma's concern with money. Their generation had it tough. This episode is really good, star-guests (except for the young boy) gave really good advice to every person with concern and to their families and friends. 👍

So I watched this more than one-hour video where Wooseok was shown for like a few minutes only lol it's fine as long as I saw him XDD

Honestly I don't think that the guy who was concerned about his height really understands what getting reconstructive limb surgery is like. Its an extremely long process and seeing how he'd probably want 8 or more inches of height he'd probably have to wear a frame for 8 months then they would take it off and have to put another one back on since they would probably be only about to get at most 2 inches of height the first time since they have to slowly stretch the bone. I had my surgery on one of my legs done last December and only got the frame off 5 weeks ago and I'm still doing physiotherapy and can only bend my leg to 90°. Its a lot of pain too especially when you first get it on, your constantly taking morphine around the clock. The only reason I even got this surgery was because 1 it was covered by OHIP and 2 I needed it to improve my quality of life. I was born with one leg shorter than the other and it was slightly knocked in so over time my knee started to break down and I developed OCD in the knee joint because of weight overload and all that stuff so it was literally either get the surgery or end up not being to walk when you hit at latest 30 and I don't want a full knee replacement when I'm still only that young. But yeah, sometimes you just gotta appreciate that yes you may have a difficult complex but be happy that your born healthy because that's most important.I ended up with 8 really dark scars on my leg 6 from the rods that they put in and 2 from when they had to fix my cartilage, I really hope that he looks into the whole process because I got half an inch of height on my leg in 2 weeks and even that was rushed so its not a quick fix and is very long road to recovery.

The first concern is just like my family. In my family there are 7 girls and 1 boy. My parents wanted boys too but only girls came out. The 7th child was finally a boy, but my parents thought he would be too lonely so they tried another time for another boy and out came another girl. They stopped after that.

I love how everyone was so positive for the guy in the last concern. He probably felt better after finally being able to talk it out

If you like fruit go to Cambodia. Cambodia is known for their rich land which is why some people say it's kind of like 'kingdom'. Cambodia's land is very very rich so if you like fruits and veggies so there. I'm still laughing because the mother only looked at fruit while she was there xD. I really hope she works less and gets better.

For the last concern I don't think height is the problem. More like his face and attitude. His face looks gloomy and the way he lets people boss him around. And it might just be me but his yellow crooked teeth are bothering me.

I teared in happiness at all the praises they gave to the person in the last concern :'( It is so rare to find someone so pure and kind like him nowadays. Anyway, I am loving Jinwoon's comments the most....so well articulate and thought of. ( the random big brain mv at the end tho XD... thank you hello counselor..they need more recognition!)

I'm sure not many other people would sympathize, but I feel a bit bad for the son in the first concern. I'm sure there was so much pressure on him that he just couldn't live up to. Also of course he ends up a disappointment when all his parents ever did was spoil him and treat him better over his sisters. I hate the patriarchal attitude people still have of feeling like they need a boy and treating them better. I've seen it come up again again on this show of complaints about a parent or grandparent always treating their boys better.

The first concern, "My mom sold fruit on the street for 26 years", come to hello news.. but i forget what episode they appeared. If i'm not wrong, mom finally went to trip and visit her daughter who lives in other country

25:20 Ahh andy's eyes 😭.. he tried to hold back his tears.. andy's mom went trough a lot of pain and illness years ago in america (its around 2002, idk) and because of worries, andy couldn't join in shinhwa's comeback.. he cried so much back then.. and i still can feel his worries for his mom
