Hello Counselor - Park Eunyeong, Jeong Jiwon, Kim Seunghwi & more! (2014.01.20) 

I think some of you, except for those who go through it, don't understand that the girl is not being too negative. This is how she truly feels. This is how she sees the world seeing her. This is a big problem for her and it is not a mental illness that can be overcome so easily. It seems since you all are living you don't understand how scary human beings can truly be. It's not the dead we should be afraid of, but the living. She must have been traumatized enough for her to only go out twice a month. Even if you don't say things directly to another's face snide comments on the side can still hurt those who pick up on it. School counselors can't do shit. You'll be lucky if you find one who cares and will help you or find help for you. Don't take things like this lightly. Watch the shit you say because it is careless words like, "She is too negative" or "She needs to go out more" that makes people like her give up and remain afraid of people. SMDH. It is social anxiety and she is such a strong person for even coming to the show.

The second concern really touched me. I started crying when Yeongja was reading it, and barely stopped enough to read the subtitles while still crying. I understand Junhui very well. I've always been shy and introverted. I don't like to meet people, or even go to parties. I don't talk much and I'm really quiet most of the time. When I was at school, I sat in the back usually and never answered questions unless I had to, but I would talk with my friends. I don't like to talk to strangers unless I must. I've never been as bad about going out into the world as Junhui is (or was), but I can definitely understand where she's coming from. The world can be scary, but we have to be brave to face it. I hope she goes to college and meets lots of good people, and becomes braver. I hope for the same for myself, as well. Junhui is a very pretty girl, and I wish her lots of happiness. Junhui, fighting!

I really sympathized with Junhui. 😟 She seemed so cute and innocent. It's terrible to see that she feels so bad all the time. I hope she continues on and builds great self confidence and achieve anything she wants. 😄 Lee Junhui fighting! 👍

I really feel for Junhee in the second concern. Social phobia is a battle against yourself, and I think fighting your own poisonous thoughts and doubts is the most difficult thing a person can do

I cried when the mother got to hug her daughter. So many feelings. Wow. That chick was so brave to go on the show like that.

I totally get Junhui I'm not that bad but I feel like I should also add 'Yet' Whenever I look at others or even walk outside I feel like everyone is looking and judging me. Even if I try to look up while I'm walking not a minute later my eyes fall to the floor.

I don't think the girl in the second concern is faking anything. There is a disorder and it is called Social Phobia. Yes, most of us do have some Social Phobia , but for certain people its more extreme. If her Phobia is affecting her life, she should go to a psychologist and get some proffesional help. But, issue is.. she does not open up to the psychologist either.. Also, Social Phobia is not something you could do or change so easily, and those who don't know what it's like to be in her shoes, shouldnt say things like she is faking it, because she is probabaly feeling anxious whenever she is around people, and the bigger issue is not her social phobia, but it all came from her insecurities and her overthinking. She is feeling to self-concious. I hope she realizes, that people are not always judging her in a negative way.

I watched this again today and when the mum hugged the girl I cried (even though I have seen this before...) I had a really bad day on Weds and when I got home my dad gave me a hug just like that and held me whilst I cried about how crap my day was.

I can relate to the second concern.... I am very negative and I wanna shut myself from everyone because I think they hate me.. When I am with my friends, I tend to be the third wheel.. always lonely.. Though I have the gift of acting and pretending like I am happy or something... It's such a painful state to be in.. I am still like that even now.. I hate being with people and any type of party.. Super negative about everything.. I think everyone hates me and would have a better life if I were gone.. I thought they wouldn't even give a shit if i was gone.. That was how I developed suicidal thoughts, which are now gone. I haven't shut myself out completely because I have a dream I wanna achieve.. I want to be a singer because I love to sing and I love music (I have 1 video on my channel) That saved me from completely going to the darkness... If anyone is experiencing these things, the just know there are bound to be people who will be there for you no matter what!!

The second concern.. first time I cried so much watching the show. It took her so much courage! I hope she is well. I really understand how she feels ㅠㅠ and yes she is very cute and she makes you want protect and befriend her!

I'm so obsessed with this show that I sang along to the theme song, and with such ease ,it's strange cause before at the start I was like I'll never be able to learn this, and now..

I want to be Junhui's friend and help her throughout her life. I believe after the show, people will reach out to her. From the bottom of my heart, thank you KBS for created Hello Counselor so people like Junhui could step into the society.

Another thing, what's wrong with these people, he's physically hurting her. Daily. He thinks it's funny but how is hurting your wife like that funny. And why didn't it get everyone's vote. Even if people can understand that's not his intent, it's still a massive concern. He might kill her sooner rather than later and all for a stupid joke. I bet if it was about looks it would have gotten more votes.

She married him thinking she could handle the fact that he is a little bully. And now she sees that she can't. He won't change. He's seems to have been a little bully his whole life. And because he's always smiling and looks nice people think it's ok. It's not. I find it hard to feel sorry for her.

The second concern has been a lot in Japanese drama. They called them as Hikikomori. Usually in dramas that i watched, a lot of parents already give up and they just let their child being that way, they're afraid if they force their child, they will suicide. But for this concern, im so glad that her mother did not give up on her. Thank you omoni~

I can really feel the second concern... i teared up because I'm exactly in her situation... I feel so alienated and unwanted... I don't like talking to people and stay quiet, so other people don't talk to me and it makes me feel even more unwanted... they try to ignore me as if I don't exist... I really wanted to meet a psychologist and ended up crying in front of the psychologist... I don't know why it happened... and I'm still so shy and it affects me everyday and has left me so many regrets. I hope she feels better since she ended up quitting her school. she needs up just as much as I do... many people (especially teenagers) feel this way and people around them make them feel even worse without realizing it...

I like so much the girl (the 2nd concern), when i see her, i was like she's so cute, i want to give her a big hug!!! I crying alot, when she talk about is life. I understand a little how she think..... i am a little introvered in some way.... I am sure she would change!!!!! She would always be a little introverted, but she would always improve herself!! Fighting !! :)

These people really REALLY don't understand how fragile the vertebrae is. Any miss in alignment, crack, bulging, tearing, or drying out of the vertebrae can have severe symptoms esp. pain. When she got that diagnosis, he should have stopped. When she slipped and hit her head on the tile, HE SHOULD HAVE STOPPED. One day he will go to jail, if they even uphold the law, when she becomes paralyzed, or worse, dead. They need to realize that the brain, heart, and spine are major points that effect other major organs. Grow the fuck up and stop playing so rough with her. I fear if they have a child SERIOUSLY. Junhui has some sort of anxiety, most likely social anxiety, and it breaks my heart to see her like that. It is not that easy to overcome. It is a personal and mental thing, so it takes those who understand, are patient, and persistent to help her.

Oh the shy girl totally should have won!! Then she can build her confidence more as she appears on the show more, just like that guy has built his confidence... Grrrr >_< I hope she gets some good close friends soon who can help her open up a bit more :)

Junhui a, u're beauty dear. Just open up your heart. Don't let your negative thinking drive your life. Try to talk wth your family n friend.

I think the two announcer women dont understand what a concern is. This girl Junhui slit her wrists in school, thats so awful. It really made me cry when she hugged her mom. It was progress yes, but still a concern

the second girl needs to see a psychologist and her mom needs to keep bringing her there even if she's not talking. keep doing it till she feels comfortable enough to talk even if it's just about what her favourite new song is. That's what my shrink did she never pushed me to talk and just waited until I wanted to talk. I know it seems stupid but she legit trusts no one the only way to get her to talk is to get her to trust the other person in someway.

I think most people can identify with Junhui, we have all gone through something like that. I want to tell her to keep that chin up, she already took the first steps to get over that situation shell be able to look back and think how silly she was for putting herself through that. And the last concern, I understood where the dad was coming from. Thankfully, he is a dad first and a responsible one at that :) The best to them!

I'm proud of the girl that was introverted, she took a step forward and I hope she continues happily.

i cried so much for junhui's concern. i totally can relate to her. it's been 4 years for me. everytime i go out i feel like everybody is judging me and i never bother attending family gathering. my parents both are working and my sister live at dorm so i always eat alone. i dont get into college too cuz i'm afraid to meet new people. but i'm happy that junhui have the courage that i dont.

I just watched happy together with Jeong Jiwon and read she's highly intelligent as well, so just had to see more of her.

Sigh... Whole my life, I've like her alone been years. I know it hard believe and not easy too. I always like that. Since start high school, I decided I can handle and patience through my life,strong, and focus on positive. Also I really don't have lot friends, not really much hang out, not really much communication(I'm deaf) and never food together with family, and I always stay in my room been years(sometime walk around). Well, I'm use to..... I can handle and patience trough with my life🙍🏼💯👊🏻

1st concern: that was a bit weird for me.. like seriously... anyways.. i just want to say that can't out joke a koester, b/c a jokester will always go bigger and worser. the only way is to be serious with him. make sure he understnads that you're not playing. 2nd concern: i didnt quite understand how she said she thought ppl hater her when they were asking her to play with them.. She just have to be the best her she can be. She was blessed with a talent and now she has to be the best with it. Its not fun having a talent if you cant show it off. It might even open doors for this young woman. 3rd: Another lose weight issue.. >.> (i need to lose a person too..v.v) anyways.. just think about how better you will feel when your body is in shape. 4th: I feel sorry for the family.. losing a mother. v.v its time for the father to step up and fill in that hole.

The story of the lonely girl is sad, i don't think its because of her negativity or to put it roughly i don't think its her fault that she thinks people hate her. It seems like she's depressed or something. The last concern was very serious, i felt pity for the girl- a kid like that shouldn't be burden with these adult stuff, i feel that her dad should be made more responsible. Shes just a kid, god please have mercy on her. ;(

Wow... Junhui really reminds me of myself. I've always been hiding behind a smile, telling everyone I was alright, so much that I even started to believe that I was alright even though I wasn't. I skipped school all the time, pretending that I was sick or I would ride a bus to relieve my stress. The bus driver was really understanding... it took me a while to realize but when I finally did I changed schools, started over from scratch and now I have the best friends imaginable. I'm so proud of you Junhui!

The second concern, Junhui seems to be a lovely girl and i got sad while listening to her concern...She lost confidence in herself and in everyone else too,she's scared. I hope she will realise her value. I think if she keeps trying like she did in this show she will realise how awesome she is! I liked the advise that the male guest gave to her. I didn't know him,but 'm gonna search more about him :) You can find haters everywhere, but there're also people who can notice how cute and lovely you are and will want to be your friend even if you try to hide yourself. I could understand Junhui feelings because I suffered from autism when I was a child, even though I'm still struggling sometimes now I'm much better and grateful to god for giving me someone like my mom who helped me alot to become more confident and sociable. It is really great to see how her mother is trying to encourage her and how she's trying to get over her fears, she's so beautiful and cute. Hope she will meet someone who will really love and take care of her, have many loyal and caring freinds and more important to find a bond with her family.

the second concern made me cry omg like the fact that she cut herself to feel loved hurts me a lot because a lot of my close friends are going through what shes feeling and i hope she has the courage to do more things and make new friends ;v;

Junhui i feel you. I dont isolate myself but instead i keep crossing out people i dislike out of my life the betrayers etc. So in the end i don't have much friends. But i am gratefull to have not many friends but trustworthy ones. It's better than fake ones. With honest friends and family you can be yourself all you want because they accept you for who you are. I do the same thing as Junhui, the only thing that is different is that I have friend. What both of us and other people are going through is really hard. I have thought of dying because I didn't have a goal or anything in life, it's all filled with tragedies. Until I saw korean stuff, this is literally the only thing that keeps me going. I hope that atleast she can get better, because she IS pretty( she reminded me of sulli during to the beautiful you). She should have more confidice because she seems like an amazing person. I know I sound like a hipocrite but I really hope the best for her.

Junhui's story really related to how I was during primary school. Since I'm very introverted and tend to be alone, I don't have any friend to have a little talk and play. A few years later, I ended up being scared to met with people and even have negative feeling even the way they stare. But, thanks to my teacher who noticed me being lonely, I can socialize a bit with other people and built my own strength and courage to facing them...

i can totally relate to the second concern:(i didn't have many friends in middle school they teased me only becuz i was too skinny compared to other "well-developed"girls:Pmade me thought it was lame,i was shy about my appearance,not able to talk to anyone and made me feel ppl hate me more.i also had the same feeling that everyone was looking and staring at me somehow,and its notthat i imagine but they did!!!becuz i was always nervous and awkward and blushing, and then 1 time i decided to just let it go and be bold i stared back at ppl and it feels good when they start to feel awkward:)))))))))))

This is the first time I'm giving a comment here~I usually watch this show and read others comment~the part where the shy girl hugs her mum, I cried so hard.I really don't understand the girl concern actually. She always feel like she was hated by people around her. That's negative thoughts really affecting her a lot.*sorry for my English.

The girl talking about her being lonely and afraid of meeting new people is close to depression I think. Long story short. I had it like that to when I started attending university and living alone. I moved back from country A to country B to attend uni. I had many ups and down and I locked myself up for 2 months away from everyone including my family. I knew I had to find help and talk to somebody (like she did, talking on Hello Counselor), so I went to the doctor. My doctor told me I had depression because of the 'environment change'. The environment change was caused when things around me had changed. From being and living alone I started to miss my family and my friends from country A. When I met my family or new people they would always think I was capable of being alone and didn't give me any attention. However I did want attention... Even now after two weeks of not being depressed I started to feel the depression once again, because I'm not given any attention once again. I feel like I'm worthless and there is nothing for me to work forward for, like a goal to become something. Whats the point if nobody is looking for me or caring for me. One advise, Parental care is very important, I'm not saying I'm not getting it,... I'm just saying when people are depressed they would want attention in a certain way, like she did, that was a little extreme, but.. having said that she should speak with her brothers as they can break the first wall inside her (it happened in my case, it didn't work right away but he kept contacting me after knowing my problem and it bothered me so I made a move forward in my life after a week or two). Speaking with just one person you like AND TRUEST can also help (over time) and many more things. I'm currently starting my new life after this awful depression event but I'm not 100% satisfied with myself. I know its wrong of us to think and act like that, but having a hobby reading books, exercising or cleaning the house can help you, me or US a lot mentally. Truest me it works :) Hope this helps people... I'm still afraid of posting this up for some reason, I tried blogging my story many times before but I deleted it right away. This time I won't. So I would be more than happy to help anyone in need. I hope you don't need it as its not fun being lonely or depressed. ^_^

We kind of sharing the same problem. i was like you when i'm in middle school and high school. i was very shy. too make it worst i have scars n my face that make me even more an introvert.but praise to God i'm good now. :) you are cute. you have good skin and very nice hair. you are really fine and people do not hate you. i hope you could get more courage and maybe smile to a cashier of your shop that you are going could be start :) hwaiting junhui ;)

As someone who suffered from suicidal thoughts, it really is a battle against yourself. I'm hard-headed and stubborn, so I find it hard to listen to what others say and follow advice. I found something I enjoyed in later on, and I realized what a pity it would be if I took my life earlier. Sometimes it comes back, but I'm better than who I was before. Baby steps, I guess.
