whether you love or hate Carrie and Big as a couple or as individuals you cant deny in this scene the actors did a great job at portraying a mature in sinc couple. it was very sweet.
@@SweetNightmareASMR yes I feel absolutely the same way. I started playing the original song each day since that 1st episode, sometime multiple times a day. Mr. Big felt like he was feeling that song and I was right there with him...that scene meant so much 😢.

This show is missing key elements that hold it together like big and Samantha. With out them the others seem like fill ins. Nothing stays the same forever!
I've always loved this song. I LITERALLY have it on my 70s playlist on Spotify. I love the long version. I'm now curious to see how many streams it's getting.
Carrie and Big had a strong connection and I loved them together. There was no room for Aidan until she went through to the end with Big. There was plenty of love there and plenty of chaos in our characters until they settled in and let all the comfortably in.

I watch this series so many times just right now n i am 69 years old now before dont have time to watch it cause i am always working but now i have the time to watch it over n over i love this two mr big n carrei love story itmakes me cry two people went through a lot of relationship but end up together 🙄🙄🙄
It didn't hit me until I was driving my truck 🚚 and played this song. I was with someone very special when I watched this episode and it just made things more intense.

@@fotoautomatmusic The reason I watched it was because I heard Big dies, otherwise I wasn't so sure I'd like it without Samantha. It was just so over the top hearing of Big's death I was very curious. I purchased HBO on my laptop. It was so sad and dark, though. I didn't expect to be so emotional.
Todd Rundgren is the best musician on the planet! I just saw him in concert in October my 43rd time. Something/Anything is my favorite album and just turned 50! I have met Todd and he is so awesome! I so agree with Mr. Big! Todd totally rocks!
A timeless song that was, is and always will be phenomenally sexy. Beautifully produced and part of the soundtrack to a very poignant time in my life almost 50 years ago. Could listen to it on a continuous loop and every time I know I’ll hear a musical nuance I’d never heard before. Extraordinary.

I've heard about what their saying he did. I don't know if I believe it or not. Again with the victims coming out years after it happened. Why didn't they come out then if it bothered them so much? I'm not justify what he's being accused of, but you have to ask, why now?

Omg. I loved Mr. Big. 😔😭 So damned sad about this whole damned thing!!!!! Him being killed off, and NOW all these horrific allegations!!!! This is truly so awful for all who loved Carrie & Big and wanted to enjoy them, their marital success at least for a while, before such a plot were to be designed. His demise on the show is incredibly unthinkable for we who have been so deeply invested in these two beautiful characters for soooooo many years! Argh!!!!! ☹️😩😢

Ughhhh! But why?!? Why couldn't we see them together a bit longer? And with Willie gone...💔 its now 3 gaping holes in this story line. Didnt hear one word about him passing a few months ago, absolutely LOVE the character Stanford. Guess I'll keep watching see how all this unfolds. I need more laughs, these first few episodes are tough.
its because the actor that played Big was allegedly harrassing crew members and fellow actors and was alledgedly innapropriate so they fired him.....thats why they killed him off ,
I have a feeling they will bring Aidan back, I did like his character but big is her soulmate, can't believe he died 💔 so sad. I don't think that's a good start for the show
I'm not really an avid watcher of the show but from the clips I've seen and reviews let's hope that with 20yrs or more he found someone who can love him better. I hate the consolation prize trope, it's kinda lazy writing if you ask me and the other person always has fear they aren't enough. I hate watching that 😕

AHHHH Todd…went to his 5 day 70th birthday celebration in Big Island, VA (2018). There were 4 throughout the year: VA, CA, Scotland & Australia. He & Michele give so much to their fans. He’s still writing fabulous music & touring. Good people!

Please tell me why they couldn't just stick with the storyline of a beautiful loving happy adult relationship for these two for at least a few years after finally finding their way back to each other?? They really had to kill Big off and throw Carrie back into the dating pool... disappointing...
She'll always fascinate me as someone definitely NOT beautiful to gaze upon and yet she has all the confidence I never had....as a result, my life has been inconsequential and non-existent. SJP is a good teacher. Full of confidence and self love. Though I do not like her anymore, she is a solid teacher and I am grateful.

We absolutly loved this moment between them, i actually melted for Carrie, what a great song thag suited them both, they acted it out very well leading upto and through the entire scene and such a great tribute to them both, especially as he was gone shortly after... Have moments like this with your partner, you never know whats around the corner in this Life, i believe that was the statement being made!!
