Yes, the psych ward is a gawdawful experience generally, and anything I can do outside of being admitted (voluntarily or against my will) I will do. But, if I have completely departed from reality and need to be kept safe, I have to trust that the people around me won't do me dirty and just suggest locking me up for any other reason than that I need to be someone where I won't hurt myself. And yes, comparing jail to the psych ward (since I've done both) there are in fact some freedoms you have in jail that you don't in the hospital. Why thank you! Yeah I talk a bit about mental health, meds, etc... It's not the center of my life but a decent part of it. If the mental health goes, everything else goes with it. Thanks for watching and subbing! :):):)

Because of latuda?

I didn't report on the Latuda, but I did post a couple more med videos I think. When I started the Latuda I was coming off Seroquel and actually the Seroquel withdrawal made the transition harder I think. I was on the Latuda starting at 30 or 40mg and it's DEF not sedating! After a month or so I was able to sleep regularly. My shrink recommended melatonin, Benadryl or whatnot and I still use them off and on. I was Very anxious and restless and sleepless when I tried Saphris. Almost ended up back in the hospital with mania teetering into psychosis. Everyone is different. Talk to your Dr (I am not a doctor ;-) ) but that was my experience. I hope that helps! - Steve

Isn't akathisia the worst? I thought I was having like an around the clock panic attack! I hope it helps you out. And if it does, I hope you get to something that does :) I know I've def felt like a lab rat over the years.

SmokeySteveAndMarc I’ve tried pretty much every single atypical antipsychotic there is and so far none have worked so I’m hoping this will. Yes the anxiety on top of anxiety isn’t the best. Abilify is my demon drug. If I ever go to the hospital and give me that I will stay way too long.

OMG, Abilify. I was in the hospital twice in 3 weeks. Looked like progress. Was actually a drug induced manic episode. Who knew! :)
